reason for waiting was HOPE that the next date given would be honoured. And if you start with a new provider you start the whole process again from start-to-finish. Plus running a business & young family = time poor

Anyway here's an update. IT HAS GONE LIVE. 2 MONTHS AFTER DATE GIVEN! However this sorry tale isn't over. I requested that my number should be ex-directory (and they wrote to me and confirmed that it was) but Talk Talk has mistakenly sold it on. I have had approx 10 calls from thomson, yellow pages, business listings r us and that gang in the past 2 days. They have apologised and have said that it must have been done by accident. Aside from that the internet service is okay so far.
