Best Place to advertise?

:question: I hope that I'm not breaking any rules here by asking this question. (As this is my favourite site and I just wouldn't want to post anything incorrect) but I hope someone can help me with this.

I have recently acquired a holiday cottage at Hope Cove in Devon and was wondering were the best place would be to advertise it for rental puroposes. I know the web is the best option but a lot of sites require quite a bit of money for this, as they include property management. As this is all set up, I don't really need that much of a package.

My son tells me he will write a web site for it but it could take hime 3-4 months and I think that I need to get the place advertised asap.

You can advertise on websites such as ownersdirect.co.uk. I rent mine out and i have a website as well. I paid about £350 and the website was up and running quite quickly. It really helps in getting bookings. This is the guy who did my site https://www.customsoftware.co.uk Really nice man!!!!

Thanks Sarah! I suppose I ought to pay someone to do my website, seeing as my son said it would take him so long. Shame though.

I haven't heard of laymyhat before but am definetly going to have a good look at it. Do you use it and do you get many bookings through ownersdirect?
