nokia phones: how to check if a number is already in your address book w/out calling
hi, i've got a nokia normal brick phone, C2, and sometimes people call me on my landline on a number I don't recognise. I enter it on my phone to see if it is in my address book, but the only way I can check, is if I make a call. When I make a call, if it's in my address book, the name will show up. if it isn't, it just dials the number, and only the number is in the display.
Is there any way I can check if a number is in my address book without calling it?

Don't know why you have a landline phone if you ain't gonna answer it, just pick it up and see who it is, if you really need to know who's ringing before you answer then get a caller id phone with all your mobile contacts entered into it0
