Thankyou O righteous one. That's right we do disagree courtesy helps.

Or do you mean "and even if you disagree, courtesy helps"

Just remember it's always easier to get arsey with a company after being nice than trying to be nice after being nasty to them.
If you must proceed with this course of action don't go charginging in all agressive from the start, be civil and polite & firm (remember that's what you were in the shop) it wasn't you raising your voice to embarass some unfortunate person (you) that made a mistake.

  • I can't believe you'd even want to complain that they wouldn't take vouchers for products you weren't even purchasing. I wouldn't take them, its abusing the system and ruins it for everyone who uses the vouchers correctly. Yes they shouldn't have shouted at you but you still have no right to expect them to give you money off just because you hand over any random vouchers, would you expect them to accept vouchers past their expiry date aswell?

I wondered if ASDA accepted Tesco Clubcard Vouchers in their stores, so I emailed their HO for clarification. This was the reply:-

    Dear Sir/Madam

    Thank you for your email.

I have been advised that we do not accept Tesco Club card Vouchers as this is an in house scheme.

However some store still do accept Tesco money off coupons, this is down to the individual stores discretion so I would advise to check first.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, I hope we can look forward to serving you again soon in one of our ASDA Stores.
