are you actually for real? you wanted £2 off a £4 spend? with coupons for products you didn't buy, and the coupons clearly state you must purchase the product? As they were "morrisons" nappy vouchers they'd be shooting themselves in the foot taking them if the product not purchased.
stores taking coupons is a bonus, which a lot of us appreciate but do not see as some god given right to impose where you see fit. i'm with the store on this one, personally i think you must have come across as a right con merchant. and i can't believe you want to complain. you;ve been damn lucky gettingone asistant to take any off you, you'll probably end up ensuring there policy changes to absolutly none.

I would tend to agree with dbonbon.
The manager rightly or wongly used a loud voice as he probably had loads of people try different things like this.
If a letter was written then you may be lucky enough that they give something just to make you think you have won when hey your still spending money in their shop.I think if you did continue in this vain attempt of "compensation" then the only grounds you could use would be due to customer service (deliberate embarassent).
I would tend to put this one down to one of lifes experiences and leave it at that.

as far as i know, all supermarkets will only accept their own vouchers if you buy the product. (though some accept manufacturers vouchers when you don't buy the product)

like all previous posts i think you should be greatfull you got away with it before, and your only valid complaint if any is the attitude of the staff, but honestly, when the vouchers you were trying to use said you had to buy the product, and it had been explained to you - but you still stood there and argued, i think you'd have tested most cs patience and it wouldn't be fair to complain about her attitude.
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

So the vouchers were for items you hadnt bought and you want to complain?
and the total amount of shopping was possibly less than the amount of vouchers you had? it's people like this that mean that tesco and other supermarkets have to alter their policy on vouchers for those that use them correctly.
  • how about ...."i am a cheapskate that wants to get free shopping by printing off vouchers, however one of your staff members would not allow me this and i actually had to pay for things?any good?Ps maybe u can print off some vouchers for a stamp?

Well, nice or not, I think that's bl**dy cheeky. I doubt you will get anywhere with head office.

4 nappies vouchers when you hadn't even bought nappies..and you have the cheek to kick up a stink with the poor checkout operator! It's them who should get the apology, not you!

The Supervisor said in a very loud voice that "We can ONLY take vouchers when you've bought the product, and ALSO, ONLY when you've got a mimimum spend of £30.00"
That's the only bit I think you can complain about: I mean, if you did use vouchers for things you had bought, they can't impose a £30 minimum spend, that's just mad.

if you are going to complain i think it would be best to base it on how you were spoken to and the £30 minimum thing. you cant really complain about not being able to get money off nappies when you never even bought nappies! :)

Thankyou O righteous one. That's right we do disagree courtesy helps.

Or do you mean "and even if you disagree, courtesy helps"
It's not the taking part but the winning that counts.
