Adding links to my posts

Hi there,
I own a company and we are promoting it with a competition, I've just tried to add this to your competition section but it's saying because I'm a new user I can't add links to the post.
How do I stop being a new user? I don't think people are going to want to enter the competition if they have to copy and paste the URL,
Many thanks,
Nick.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, how do the current competitions get onto the site then, it looks like a few users reguarly post competitions, are they just searching the web and then sharing these with users or are they filtering out requests from somewhere?
Many thanks,
Nick.0 -
Many of the comps are posted on comp sites like Loqax, The prize finder and ukcomps etc at a guess I suspect some are then posted on here0

Some of the competitions are posted by, usually new, members pretending to be disinterested bystanders who have come across one purely by chance. In reality though they often have a very close relationship with the website concerned, maybe working for a marketing organisation or within the promotions department.
Money Saving Expert ranks very highly on search engine listings due to its immense popularity so naturally it gets targeted by companies, some of which are less than honourable shall we say, because they know that their sites will get hits if they associate with MSE.
I admire your honesty in not attempting any subterfuge though.0 -

There are always some that post for selfish reasons such as advertising or a method of collecting email addresses for :spam: but they tend to get found out quickly and their posts are removed or at the least a warning is added to their post.0 -
Ok, thanks guys, I'll try posting it on one of those sites mentioned and hopefully someone will pick it up.0
