Yesterday I almost had a splurge but I just stopped myself. I got sent a link to a sale (snuggy hoods for any horse people) and I actually went in and added things to my basket. I then shut it down but 45 minutes later I went back in and again added the items to my inbox. I again persuaded myself to stop and I needed to pay the extra off my debts, I was so close to spending money for the sake of it :0(. It’s easy to fall into bad habits. My visit to Mr T at lunch time never occurred as a group of us went to the international food market. One had Jamaican, one had Moroccan, 2 had Italian and I had Portuguese. It came out my weekly spends but keen to make sure I don’t accidentally have to buy lunch again I went straight to Mr T after work and bought a 4 pack of soup.
OH had salmon for tea and I had my risotto which was lovely. OH is getting through so much fruit, he had value trifle for pudding and then 3 oranges for supper!
I paid £3 for parking this morning and will have to buy some milk for tea and tomorrows breakfast, usually 2 pints lasts me all week.
The roads were very flooded today so I hope it doesn’t rain any more otherwise I will have to go the very long route home.
I also got a letter from the dentist telling me all the treatment I need. It accidentally got sent to my mum (we both go to the same dentist even though we live 70 miles apart) and she has offered to pay for the worst of it. I guess I could get the treatment cheaper but I have a life long phobia of them and this is the only dentist I trust. I have booked to go and have a couple of preventative spot fillings at the end of May as well as discussing the letter with him.

Have a good and dry day all

More rain and more floods, I really want to get on with my garden fencing but can’t in the weather :0(
Anyway OH had left over toad in the hole and the rest of the value trifle for tea last night. I also made up a crumble and 2 of his portions of pasta and meatballs so one went in the freezer. I bought a cup of tea for £1 yesterday afternoon :0( (I am in my weekly spends but I didn’t need to spend so much on food and tea this week if I had been more organised) I had a frozen ready meal for tea and soup for lunch.

Today I have soup again (I had to buy more milk for tea) and tonight I am going out for my friends birthday to a Mexican so I hope not to spend too much (I have to drive as its 15 miles away so will be drinking soft drinks)

Yesterday I made a pad of £2 to catch up Wednesday and Thursday worth.

I have a card and 2 bottles of wine for my friend so I just need to get a cheap gift bag at lunch.

Last weeks food and toiletries shopping came in at £68.25 and this weeks was £75.69, next week should go back down as we now have toilet rolls and washing liquid etc and OH has bought sausages and belly pork home.

I hope you all manage to have a great bank holiday despite the predicted awful weather.
