How times change........

Told eldest about the amazon black friday sale today and he saw the D&G shirt, he was asking how much it would go for when it camel live, I said about £60 not sure and his reply.....

'That is ridiculous, I want it but I can't afford to just spend £60 on one shirt, I have other things to buy with my money'

Oh the times he has been begging for the latest Nike £60 trainers and we would not get it for him or the fred perry top, or rock republic £120 coat and we battled all the way through it, absolutely refusing to pay that amount for one item, oh how times have changed now he does not want to part with his own money:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Surprising how tight you can be with your own money but so happy to spend someone else's:rotfl:

It is funny though, we fought him all his teenage years over very overpriced expensive designer everyone has got it at school mum stuff and he kept saying 'when I get a job I am going to get x y z and have it all' now he has his own money and can buy it, he thinks it is overpriced for one shirt:rotfl::rotfl:

victory, I have found the same with my dd in the last few months. She is now being very careful with the price of things - even when we go food shopping. I suppose when you work so hard for minimum wage, you quickly learn your lesson! She still can't save any of her money, so that's the next step!

Still having them cut short take last night, 4-10pm, finished at 7pm, manager told him to go home:eek:

Not found anything else yet but the fear of no money keeps him there so that is a good thing, he is not silly enough to pack it in and give up without having another one lined up:D

Saving january20 he does not do either:D
