I have sent off a downloaded application today to my local(ish) branch after ringing to check that it could be opened by post. I also managed to open the Local Hero version in the same way last month.
    HTH
  • The application form is on Principality web site savings page left hand side as a downloadable form
    http://www.principality.co.uk/Home/Contact%20Us/~/media/Files/PDF/Download%20Forms/SAFA4-09-09.ashx

The only info I have is on Special saver2's regular savings thread, and in the OP of this thread.

  • I managed to get to a branch this morning and just about opened one. Not an over the counter job but an appointment. They squeezed me in just before throwing out time, it would appear to be pretty popular.
There is a "Required Investment" in November 2012 so if anyone is fortunate enough to open one now, it is a 13 monther. :)

I too have tried this method for Pricipality RSA i11 which is barnch only product.

But about christmas saver, has anyone tried this method to open Principality Chritmas Saving, download the AF and then send it to their HO in Cardiff together with Cheque ? The reason why I am asking is that the previous RSA i11 the product appeared to be advertised on their website, but this time , the Christmas Saver, I have not found it on their website.

I am thinking of trying it again, but I would like to hear experience from people who have tried this ?

    Thank you

The existing Regular saver account was listed as "Branch only" but I successfully applied by completing the generic application form and sending it to H.O.. BTW I do not live in Wales.
