Tesco Clubcard CC or Cashback CC?

in Credit cards
Other than bills and direct debits, all of my spending is made by Tesco Clubcard credit card and I pay the balance off in full every month, so that I don't pay interest.
My average monthly credit card balance is around £1,000 and per quarter this gives me around £8.00 in Tesco vouchers.
Just wondering am I better off getting a Cashback credit card instead? Would I earn more money if I used one of these rather than my Tesco Clubcard CC?

There are assorted offers and intro offers around, but taking the Capital One 1.25% card (ignoring intro offers) you'd get £12.50 per month* (plus off course assuming your £8.00 CC vouchers is for clubcard use + 'standard' Clubcard vouchers you'd still get the 1 Clubcard point/£ spend in Tesco stores as vouchers).
* Assuming that is £1,000 spend per month that you pay off in full as opposed to part of it being a rollover balance.0 -

Thanks dazza.mk. I don't know much about cashback cc's so will need to read up about them.
I sometimes spend more that £1,000 a month - this month it's almost £2,000 but I have been buying for Christmas, things for the house etc. I have also been using my Tesco vouchers for normal use but only get around £30-40 a year for using my credit card. So it seems that using a casback credit card I can earn a lot more.
I always pay my balance in full, so the £1,000 is not part of a rollover balance.0 -
Just another quick question if that's Ok
?
I am now considering applying for a Cashback Credit Card. I use my Tesco Clubcard credit card almost daily and pay the balance off in full.
I also have another credit card - which I haven't used for 6 months as I used it purely to 'stooze' £4,000. This was repaid 6 months ago and I haven't used it since.
Before making an application for a Cashback Credit Card, should I cancel the one I haven't used for 6 months first? Will it make a difference to my application? I consider myself to have a good credit rating as I have no debts (other than having a mortgage which I pay without problem) and I have never missed any payments.0 -
you can use your tesco credit card and convert vouchers up to 4x value. you can also get a bonus 1000 points worth up to £40 in deals if someone recommends you for having the tesco credit cardHi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
