I've not had any of my items being stolen - my knowledge - but the service from our postie has been nothing short of shocking. He'll regularly leave packages on the door, knocking on the door without knowing if anyone is in, and then walking away. And anything that requires a signature? It's not signed for full stop. Just shoved through with the 'remove and attach to form' label still on.
Complain, complain, complain,it does work, and all complaints are looked at,the postie WILL be pulled up.
  • As the laxative would be being sent to yourself at your home address, you would not in essence be committing an offence. Furthermore Laxative is not a noxious substance and the effects do not last.

This WILL be dealt with (believe me I work there), especially as RM would have to pay compensation if one of those parcels went missing.

oo its a joke..Actually i would like to see something done (unlikely). My son has had so much mail stolen,he now has to send parcels to work.Just going to text him to see if he got any of his birthday cards.

Get him to report this to Royal Mail.......is it being stolen....or lost......or are his address details correct?........try sending a letter/paket to him slightly mis-addressed with YOUR return address on the back and wait and see if he gets it or you have it returned to you. that should be fun!

Seriuosly though, sinec it happened to another poster, have you thought it could occur in the sorting office where the bars are originally sent through.
Maybe they are the ones who should check the problem...

Yes, it's a thought! I've just complained to Royal Mail without implicating anyone....up to them to investigate where or who.... I thought it was funny at first with it just being a couple of freebie cereal bars but there is a principle involved and it does annoy me to think that mail is being tampered with no matter what the item is or what it is worth.
