Cheap Broadband option for my Mum

My Dad died last month and at the moment my sister is staying with my Mum and needs internet access. I have a spare T-Mobile dongle which she is using for the moment but was wondering if we could get Broadband cheaply for when she stays. I will be staying from next week for a while and I too need the internet.
Mum is on Talk Talk Phone ( line and calls ) at the moment but we don't really want to get her into a long contract and also because it won't be used all the time we are looking for a cheap option. Any ideas guys?

I'm liking the o2 deal at the moment find someone with an o2 phone and the broadband is £25 for the first year. Otherwise an extra £5 per month if not an o2 customer. BB is free with Sky if you have Sky. There are a few others.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Not that I'm recommending TT, but adding the BB service onto the existing TT package (Essentials) is not going to add much, assuming that she's on a TT LLU exchange. It all depends how often access is needed-for a few weeks a year a PAYG dongle will be cheapest.
Otherwise Plusnet Value at £6.49pm is about the best she'll get (on a Market 3 exchange).
Check out her LLU options with an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • If you have Sky TV, you could get line rental, free evening & weekend calls and broadband upto 2GB usage (browsing, emails etc) for £12.25 a month. If you don't have the TV I think they add something like a £2.50 supplement.

:T Expecting my first LO on July 12th; words fail to describe how grateful we are for this gift :T
