Where are you hoping to sell them ? We have found that many markets or craft fairs will not allow Neals yard products
Do they give a reason why NY isn't allowed?'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

Are there not other ways you can try to make sales jillyflower? I would be curious to find out why certain markets don't allow NY as that would be a way or have you thought about informal coffee mornings or leaving a basket in work places or schools?

Hi,
I sell similar products as NY and I have never had any success at fairs, be it craft, wedding, school etc. People aren't expecting to spend that much at that kind of event.
In the party style environment, people get a chance to consider the quality and enjoyment from the product before they contemplate the price.
Have you considered attending some office staff rooms on a free basis, to demonstrate (with hand massages, facials & pamper style treatments) to encourage people to book?0 -
I wonder if it depends where you're selling them (geographically) - I would imagine that coffee mornings etc in more affluent areas would be more successful in making sales on something that others may deem expensive but good quality?0

I'm with a Company selling similar products to NY and have found that door knocking and putting brochures through works well and i'm now thinking about parties using the mineral makeup range. We have done a few local stalls but round here they are expensive around £30 and the ones we have done haven't had the footfall unfortunately so we prefer other ways to find customers who have become regular orderers . We also do a monthly newsletters to our customers offering free samples which works well and a % off their next order if they refer a friend who then orders.
