Does anyone else do this as a consultant? Is it profitable?

Good Luck. Neal's Yard make really lovely products.
  • The products appear to be expensive.
  • They appear to be yes. But they last far longer than a lot of the cheaper products out there as you don't need to use nearly as much. So smthg that's say £18 that a competitor sells for £6 will last 3 times as long so in the long run there is no price difference.

Where are you hoping to sell them ? We have found that many markets or craft fairs will not allow Neals yard products

I did NYR a couple of years back and had trouble even getting back what I laid out for my kit.

But good luck to you if you can make it work. :)

Yes so far it's been a disaster. One fair I sold nothing and the last one I sold the grand total of £3.50. I don't know how people make so much money!

Probaly the word EXPENSIVE originally mentioned in this thread earlier has something to do with it. Especially in the present climate.;)
  • I've been trying since April to get someone to have a party for me, so to date I haven't sold anything. Just too expensive
