So you dislike the Autogrips but are considering a different brand of cheap nasty ditchfinder?

I'd probably go with Goodyear as I've always had good experience with them, even on their cheaper models, but a lot of people here recommend Kumho as a decent mid-range tyre with a decent balance of cost vs performance.

but get some ear defenders and a cushion, superb tyre for grip though.
