You don;t have to honeymoon immediately after the wedding...lots of people do a 'mini-moon' maybe a short break in this country then go away at a later date. We had vouchers for honeymoon for wedding gifts as we want to doa cruise but will take it next year - DH couldnt get the time off work this year and we knew budget would be tight. By doing it later we know how much we've been given by guests and have the time to plan better and be flexible with dates.

Well started talking about it last night and hit the first stumbling block.

Right, we have made some tiny bits of progresss!! We (I) have decided on a venue for the wedding, not taken it any further than that yet though.

Reception wise, we've spoken to the local brewery about doing the drinks and they can't wait. It's evolved into a steam rally type reception so we'll have a beer tent, hog roast, etc etc. Really excited about it.

Not got a date yet lol but we're further along than we were last month....baby steps..
