can i put our sim card in a new p.a.y.g mobile.
i am wanting to buy a new tmobile p.a.y.g phone for my partners christmas, the one he has is knackered, lol. am i able to put his existing tmobile sim card in the new phone which is also tmobile as his existing number is his business number, many thanks for any help,
sorry if this is a daft question, but i am not very up on p.a.y.g,

Yes, provided the SIM is the same size (I think that only iPhones have a smaller sized one).
Some mobiles are "locked" to a network, but yours are both T-mobile so that is not an issue.
FYI, an unlocked phone will work on any network, and some shops phones tend to be supplied unlocked (eg. CPW).
If you are swapping phones, you might also check out whether it has a memory stick in it (usually a tiny MicroSD that looks a bit like a SIM), and whether it will fit into the replacement phone.
Also, some shops may have discounts for PAYG phones for existing customers, so check that out too before paying full price.0 -
If buying at Carphone Warehouse, take the existing phone with you. The new handset then counts as an upgrade related to the existing SIM, so you don't get required to buy a new SIM for £10 when you buy the new handset.
You can only upgrade every 6 months.0
