    Well guys, finally my keyboard for the laptop has arrived... hopefully no more USB keyboard to contend with.

    Wish me luck installing it... eldest said, but do you think you could replace it?!

    Fingers crossed I can show him that his mum has got some wits about her! lol

    those two word got used so often they are banned in this house, replaced by "dad its not cooked properly" and "dad call the fire brigade"

    Other possibilities are- untanned or tanned, rare or well done, colourless or colourful or perhaps "we are on a diet so can't manage to eat much"

    I've just been working out some finances and thanks to my stash that I bought earlier in the year that I've been living on since the end of September I've hardly spent any money which means for the first time in 3 months I've managed to put some money in to my savings account.

    Thank you Mr T.:beer::beer:

    Well done HC ... I hope to be joining you soon. I was thinking of tryinig to limit my Net spend (after multiple buys, MOCs, JTDs, DTDs and whoopsies) to £5 per shop but not sure how manageable this would be. :cool:

    Have you ever noticed that a womans "I'll be ready in 5 minutes" and a mans "I'll be home in 5 minutes" are exactly the same?

    Very philosophical Happy :rotfl::rotfl:

    I second that, compared to yesterday it is lovely today.
    After yesterday's weather planned to stay home today and get the Dec's out but with a toddler to contend with it's not going to plan.

    I hear Mr t are reducing laptops again, nothing silly like a few months back but might be worth a look.
    Tip for you and your christmas tree i put mine near a window and screwed an eyelet to the window frame and used it to tie a lenght of tinsel to the eyelet and the stalk of the tree so the wee man can pull all he wants but the tree will not fall on him ;) (make sure you use decent piece of tinsel or it will just snap or double up if it feels weak or just use string) :cool:

    Just got the Mingles for £1.01 per pack but also saw KoKo Truffles half price were £4 now £1.01 and scanned at that :j:j:j 0849

    Had to go and get custard powder for DD3 food tech lesson this morning so picked up last of the mingles but debating whether to go back for Kokos.

    Can't believe I actually had to buy custard powder with all the pots and instant sachets I have stashed but recipe called for a tablespoon to be mixed with icing sugar to make a thick icing not heard of that one before.

    Morning everyone:) Day 33 of no smoking and I've put on a few "cough" pounds, but hey ho I'll work on that after xmas. Can't be expecting to eat what I've been eating and not put on weight

    Glad I'm not the only one to have put a few pounds on and I have no excuse as not given up anything. Don't think CDMs for breakfast have been doing me any good at all. Although I can account for every TCO I have bought not touched one. :D

    On a serious note though my weight is worrying me as I have spent the majority of my adult life around 2 and half stone less than I weigh now. I must do something and all these Ts glitches are really not helping. I know I comfort eat and don't seem to have any willpower lately not to, for some reason things do not feel so full of calories when either free or pennies. :eek:

    Had my last rack last night with a bottle of the Sav Blanc that I got on dtd very enjoyable. So PLEASE tinyshoes, wool et al, leave me some lamb legs this weekend. The please wad said very nicely:)

    There all yours if you can find them, I don't do DTD very much and this one sounded a bit too complicated for me. I like a straight forward OOD label on something small, I'm bit chicken when it comes to the lamb. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
