Have to tell my daughter later that her best friend's birthday party has been cancelled because she's ill. This isn't going to go down well at all.

If only there was a nice glitch today so that I could ease the news.
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

:TThanks Winjackie...I'm atleast feeling a little more human now which is a relief, it was touch and go at one point

The silliest thing is that before I got rushed into hospital I did actually manage to get to T's and got the fab dtd on the smoked haddock meal deal! So that atleast gave me SOMETHING to smile about :rotfl:I got 2 meal deals, 3 bottles of Rose on 3 for £12, a bottle of Bucks Fizz, a box of halloween Cadbury fingers, some 1p halloween sweets and a 28 wash box of Ariel and T's paid me 80p

Elsie I'm so sorry to hear about the kittens but I'm so glad your gorgeous cat is doing better now.

Beki fab fab news about your insurance :T

Don't know if many of you will remember our accident 3 weeks ago, well we heard on the 1st that the other side was pushing for us to admit full liability, today the solicitor rang up to say they are admitting full liability (Insurance companies choice but not the old ladies she was still denying) :T They have offered us both compensation although same amount, I have declined the amount they have offered me (hope that doesnt sound greedy)
DM SEL £1 and scanning at that in Stairf00t, SEL 34p in W@th but none in at minute.

They don't expect you to take the first offer, its like Tesco offering JTD when they should give DTD if they can get away with it so much the better for them.

Maybe for us southerners but I guess for those in Scotland & up North the snow doesn't have the same fascination.
