Milliesmum wrote: »MMW, fair play to you for having the bal*s to own up. I still think (as many have said) that as HappyChappy's jokes seem to appeal to the majority, it would be much easier to simply skip over his postings while you're skimming through, rather than involve the MSE Mods ? Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

I agree.... I love jokes, but get very bored with long winded jokes, sooo I just skipped over the ones that didnt appeal to me... I suppose lots of other people did the same as me.. I enjoyed all of the short'ish ones... I have no issues whatsoever with HC's jokes, to be honest, seems quiet here without them now.. it cheered the whole thread up after the FB issues!!!!!sunshinestar101 wrote: »Evening all.
Well, i have eventually caught up - after reading 20+ pages... i realised that all i was reading was arguments, bickering and generally peoples views on random !!!!.
No new glitches whatsoever. No happy, funny, interesting posts, no cheer up posts or anything like what this thread used to be like, only a few months ago....
has anyone else noticed that all the 'old/original' MSEers posters seem to have vanished.. there is only a select few that still post on here nowadays..... i can guarantee that this is because of all the !!!! that is happening on here lately..
wouldnt surprise me if there actually were Glitches, and new finds, but people are just refusing to post on here anymore... i know i have found a couple.... mentioned it on here breifly, then not bothered to add pics, details etc due to the fact of me not actually finding this thread that much fun anymore....
i have decided that i am going to take a few days away from posting on here anymore, wether i find a bargain or not....
i am due to move house tomorrow, and actually paid extra to my Broadband provider to get the internet installed quicker at the new house, so i wouldnt miss out on any bargains on here and any new finds i could update you all with ASAP....... but i dont think it was even worth it in the end....
Hope everything gets sorted out soon and the thread gets back to the good old days.... me personally, think its the end of the end...
Happy Glitching and bargain Hunting everyone
Take Care.

I think we have all got peeved with the whole issue, I must say, I used to pop on at least 5-6 times a day to check on what bargains people have drummed up, but I check every 2-3 days now.. and after checking in, its all pages full of arguments...:mad::mad::mad::mad:

we are all to busy arguing amongst ourselves that we seem to have missed (i went as far to say chose to ignore) that baileys husband has been missing for ten days in afghanistan and no one chose to support her. i found that verry disturbing, it was verry long winded version of that but i pressed edit and lost my bottle because i thought i was going to be slated and decided to leave it and send a pm instead. now i cant go back to the post and theres no way i could remember how i worded it.
Here here...
Baileys, I have my fingers crossed for both you and the safe return of your OH... stay positive.. I shall pray for you tonight.. xxx
Celebrate... how are you getting on love???? been thinking a lot about you over the weekend, hope your doing ok honey xxx0 -

dizzyditzy wrote: »I'll tell my embarassing story (well the one I can remember). Before we knew what was wrong with me, my OH and I went to a very expensive curry restaurant. We ordered the waiter put my curry in front of me and I fell asleep in it:eek:
Everyone was looking waiter comes over and asks if everthing is ok. OH calmly lifts my head up by my hair removes the plate and says fine thank you the curry is wonderful.
The next day I had to ask OH why I had curry in my hair:eek: I didn't even wake up when we left. Worst bit was the 80 pound bill:eek::eek:
Dizzyditzy,do you suffer with narcolepsy?A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0 -
I did think that!
I might chance my arm with a call to Head Office tomorrow to see what they say but as I've had a couple of " Issues" of late don't want to be seen as a serial troublemaker?
I was miffed at the supervisor not offering the DTD to be honest! she just told the CS lady to refund the £3.00 and recharge 92p and was making signs to her that it wasn't a you know what!! (DTD)
I think you have a valid important point to make, obviously I wasn't there but I think if you phone H.O. they will try & fob you off with a £15 giftcard. If you are sure about the two tills I would speak to your local trading standards it should be listed on your councils website, that sort of thing needs investigating you can't have goods going through tills at two different amounts.
I know what you meant about being a troublemaker I have one issue to resolve for me & one for a neighbour & had called H.O. a couple of times recently .0 -
Evening guys, ive just read from last night to 2pm today page 33 and its taken me all xfactor and now celebrity and what a waste of time.....
thats how i feel!
I cant bring myself to read the last 17 pages, so if nikkailia woke up, hope you all had a great night and if anyones found any new glitches I notta clue and happychappy... me and the oh love your jokes, although they were a bit rugged at 1.30am! please keep them coming
on a more positive note got the bright starts cot mobile was charged double the sticker, does anyone know if you can get dtd from a diff store as the one I got it from the cs queue was 10 deep and I was on lunch, now im off work all week so cant go back? cheersThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
I agree - Happy Chappy comes out of this very well ................................ but where are you now HC?
Because I know you'd had something to say about HC's jokes and thought you might add something to the discussion
I was in Mr T's today, after the car boot, but only to get a King Size Quilt 13.5 tog £14 and 2 x pairs of Silentnight Pillows £4 per pair, using my Clubcard Double-up rewards. I have been checking and not found any at 1p, 4p, 10p, or £1.60
It was funny looking around the car boot, everything there seemed so very expensive after Mr T's
Which silent night pillows did you get please.?I think I've had every pillow scanned in my extra over the last month and neverr found anything less than £10/pair:(Awaiting a new sig0 -
How rubbish, the Coca Cola Truck is stopping at one of my local T's but from 9am to 1pm - so no effect of the lights and the OH's son will be in school anyway :-(0

Bailey, i'm so sorry, I hold my hands up too to missing the news about your OH while I was skimming over some of the not so nice stuff. Just wanted to add that you and your family are also in my thoughts and hope that you get some positive news very soon. Rather puts life into perspective xx (and thank you to lovecrafting for raising the fact so many of us had missed this x)One big boo-boo I made was going into Comets and ranting at the manager as my new dishwasher was broken for the 3rd time in 6 weeks and I wanted a replacement not a repair, mid rant something popped into my head and reminded me I had actually bought the dishwasher next door in Currys
On a lighter note, that had me in stiches
No Mr T for me this weekend, in fact no shopping at all  (well except some rather expensive shampoo and conditioner online) Looking forward to Black Friday week but not holding out much hope after last year's debarcle, although the rules have changed a little this year (have to check out and pay in 15mins else you lose the item unlike being able to hold it until midnight in a basket until it expires)
Still deciding what to do with my Bright Starts £7.50 play gym (the one I was hoping for DTD on down from £30)
Right, spent the last hour catching up when I really should have been ironingtoodle pip for now x
