No idea what to make of it to be honest. I have a working scanner in my store and on the odd occassion I have found some deal/bargains they have always gone through the till correctly. In fact I live in hope that one day they won't so I can get DTD.

If anything comes of it though, I will remember that you pointed it out first :T

Anyhow go to the till - young lad puts shopping through - 1p sweets etc, plenty 92p - brill, then my choc. it goes through at 93p! so i stop hom and say but i had it price checked it's supposed to be 34p? he check another bar - no definately 93p, so he calls a supervisor, who authorises it at 34p - when she sees I have 10 bars she says she will have to suspend transaction and check with floor manager.... so cut a long story short she takes me to another till further down the line. I explain that I had asked somebody to price check it and it was saying 34p. The girl on the till said yup, that was me it goes through at 34p, so the supervisor looks and sure enough it goes through at 34p on her till............:eek:

Well after a while they decide they have to let me have it so i put the shopping through this till instead and guess what! Yup you've guessed it the Plenty oges through at £3.00!!!!!!!

So I pay and find the supervisor again to get my DTD - she wasn't having any of it BTW as she said there was obviously a problem with their till systems that day... So I reckon that some of their tills hadn't been updated properly or recently - this was a till i don't usually see them use as its right at the end of the store?? so those that are getting the Dairy milk at 34p your plenty may well be at £3.00 and those that are getting cheap plenty will be paying more for your chocolate!

The supervisor couldn't see my issue with the fact that dependant on which till i randomly chose i would be paying up to £8 pounds more for my shopping than an other one!:eek:

Sorry , Yesterday I got 10 choc. at 34p and 5 Plenty at 92p in one transaction .

My plenty and dairy milk were done in seperate transactions :think: Plenty: the few times and at diffrent stores went through at 92p. Dairy milk: only got a couple of bars in one shop went through at 34p.

i tried the chocolate yesterday and mine went through at 93p too was gutted put my 5 bars back

I was in Mr T's today, after the car boot, but only to get a King Size Quilt 13.5 tog £14 and 2 x pairs of Silentnight Pillows £4 per pair, using my Clubcard Double-up rewards. I have been checking and not found any at 1p, 4p, 10p, or £1.60

It was funny looking around the car boot, everything there seemed so very expensive after Mr T's

I popped over to a mates with some tools he wanted to borrow.

I did think that!

I might chance my arm with a call to Head Office tomorrow to see what they say but as I've had a couple of " Issues" of late don't want to be seen as a serial troublemaker?

I was miffed at the supervisor not offering the DTD to be honest! she just told the CS lady to refund the £3.00 and recharge 92p and was making signs to her that it wasn't a you know what!! (DTD)
