  • the zinfandel was not in the 3 for £12 but gives a good jtd voucher of £17.74 back. On my first attempt at the wine purchase i picked up the gallo merlot rose which was in the 3 for £12 so you got two discounts buying from t's (25% plus 3 for £12) but it price checked as being cheaper in Asda.

    hth.

I did this today but watch the dates on the cheese, got 2 and was just about to pay when I realised it was dated 5th December!!!

Afternoon everyone, just back from T's and got comfort, CDM's, more wine!!! bucksfizz and used lots of vouchers from the magazine. Was so busy concentrating on the vouchers that I forgot again to collect my duvets, Oh well a good excuse to go back tomorrow;)

Day 28 on my no smoking journey and I am feeling really happy with myself, so to everyone who's thinking about it please try, because I absolutely swear I was a heavy smoker and if I'd have known how much better I was going to feel I'd have done it years ago. I cannot beleive as well how much extra money I have. I gave up 4 weeks ago and xmas is 3 weeks away, so by xmas I will have saved £350. So I have paid for xmas by giving up smoking!!:T:T:T

Hope everyones having a mse & productive day;)

You weren't at the vacuum factory were you? Already had to complain about OOD stock ( I know it's not OOD yet but.....)
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

I'll probably get slated for saying this but here goes....

its important that you...as the customer..and the person using the coupons...actually reads the terms and conditions on the coupon.

The 75p comfort coupon is actually printed with a £1 persil coupon...you need to cut these up and only use the relevant coupon dependant on which product you are buying..whilst its great to get that extra 25p off your shopping, Ts wont be able to claim that back from the manufacturer as the product wasnt purchased....in light of the recent TV programme showing coupon usage, Ts seem to be clamping down a bit on coupons...and using them wrongly or not in line with their terms and conditions is a sure fire way to get Ts to put a restriction on coupon usage. :(

Before anyone jumps on me about my use of coupons last week..all the coupons I used were within the terms and conditions and each SA at a manned till put them through happily.

Its not excessive use of coupons that Ts take a dim light of, its coupon abuse where they are not being used correctly....so just check each before you use it!! :)

    Agree totally:T:T:T:T

    WELL SAID

and OMG what language do I have to speakin to stop people asking for coupons on this thread??

Best way to get T's to limit our use of vouchers is to use them incorrectly.

Shall we just try ignoring people who ask for codes/coupons....i know its rude (especially for newbies), but in some cases, the code/item description/barcode is already in the thread and people just cant be bothered to search for it.

Think that is the next step, or if anyone asks for one tell them to go to the voucher board because I love them over there:) and they'll put them straight. Sorry voucher guys, but you lot are brilliant on voucher & coupon rules;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

No glitch/deal as such but they are 10 quid more expensive than asda which gives a good return from the price checker.

I like this approach as new MSEers may not even know there is a voucher thread so it may benefit them in a number of ways :)

i must agreed with you scamps i just wish i had the balls to do it ! to be honest i think the way you did it makes it look more genuine as you had alot of everything ...would of looked more odd to have a normal shop the 24 hot chocs !!

when i got my biscuits i also brought b1g2f puddings and salami so loads of each thing

i think we are all out to get what we can and i must say with 1p items i would buy lots if i saw them ( like trays scamps remember ) but happily give stuff away

we are all here to save money and if we but 2 each or 24 we should just pat each other on the back and enjoy it while it lasts ! and fair play scamps its gone to saving the football team money but even if not i would still say well done !!

lets all just play nice please we dont want rows like before xx

p.s my good deed today was giving the old dear in front 2 £1 of celebrations coupons and £1 of fruit from the mags .......she said myself and bf will go to heaven :A lol bless her !
Thankyou. I try to help everyone I know. When I was in tesco's the other week, I had 2 £5 of £40 spend vouchers on me and i'd finished my shopping so I looked for the nearest person with a big shop and gave them to her, she was shocked and even tried to offer me cash for them, bless, it's good to to give things to strangers (the look on their faces) This site gets me things I need. If I don't , I ll give it away. If there's a chance of getting something for nothing I will take it as I'll always know somebody who will benefit from it. Sorry If I seem to be ranting or just the need to jusify myself, I'll not post anything anymore. Regards. Scamps1966.

I wasnt particularly moaning and i know how much small village schools depend on donations, my point was that without youmlot, it would have been a nightmare!

Wine was free with dtd, pencil cases were 36p craft stuff was pence and 50 bags of haribo, swizzle lollies and wine gums about a fiver.

Funnily enough there was a load of tcos too! Not mine as i didnt get any.

The nursery school didnt ask for anything so bless em, they got a 26" tv with built in dvd player:T Courtesy of some begging at my local electrical retailer with a little local advertising for their trouble:T which raised them £400 smackers.:A

Sorry I did'nt mean to imply you were moaning :o I was mainly responding to the pension comment as I thought that was a bit low. The vast majority of schools are fighting to do the best they can with very little budget and the staff are overworked and underpaid as it is. Talk of fundraising events being used to sub the pension fund just got me

lol at the tcos. our harvest festival was filled with campbells soup and honey shreddies :rotfl:

Thats true to a point. But doing a little each day here and there does not draw attention to things. Buying 72 of each item in just 3 stores in one day is taking the p*ss.

Tesco afterall are a business! If we make what we do TOO obvious by rubbing their noses in it then those policies will change very swiftly. RnR vanished, clubcard points used to be copious before people started buying 2 or 3 cars with them, MOC usage was nice and easy now its hard.....and so the list goes on.

Nowt wrong with being greedy but there is something wrong with being lazy! Laziness means you bring attention to their inept policies and spoil it for everyone else.
    24 of each!!!!!!!!!
