Were the Gallo white zinfandell part of the buy 3 for £12?. Just checked my receipt and see I've only had the 25% off. Not my bl00dy day is it!!

The zinfandel is a JTD opportunity but not so good now the 25% has finished. I believe people would buy 6, get a JTD voucher of 17,xx then recycle it on more wine.

I didn't bother with it as its only 9% so would end up drinking 2 bottles a night making it not such an appealing deal. the cono sur is much nicer wine too and much more potent :)

I think it just depends on who you get serving you. The SA today was narked at the amount of fruit and veg I'd got. Bearing in mind it had been reduced by 90% I STILL managed to spend about £7 in total!!....There was absolutely shed loads of it and the guys reducing it were lovely...kept telling us to fill our trolleys as it was Xmas!!
The SA was tutting and huffing all the while she served me so I think it was a bit of sour grapes on her part. She said that I couldn't expect to get reduced stuff AND use coupons too.

Last week though, the lovely SA said how great it is to see people getting a bargain.
If I go to the extra store an L££ Mill (even further away!!) I've made a point of telling a lovely SA on the SS tills about some of the bargains (trays before and DM last week) and she is now really helpful. She asked if I was getting my info from HUKD "as they are very good" :rotfl::rotfl:

It's nothing to do with the SA if you are getting reduced stuff and using coupons ... she does not make the company policy, she is there to implement it and if you have Tesco coupons and have spent the correct amount, then it really is not up to her.

Did you not go to the CS desk in store and complain?

People like you will get DTD stopped.
Why?? I was genuinly buying it as it was half price for the team as it was stated in the mag. It was only because it was on here that i could get it for free that I got it. I would have bought it anyway. Don't try and tell me that you havn't gone overboard on a deal and bought loads of them when you've the chance!!! Or am I the only to do it???:p

Each to their own. For instance I know some of us have been making the most of the Guyilan's.

Thats true to a point. But doing a little each day here and there does not draw attention to things. Buying 72 of each item in just 3 stores in one day is taking the p*ss.

Tesco afterall are a business! If we make what we do TOO obvious by rubbing their noses in it then those policies will change very swiftly. RnR vanished, clubcard points used to be copious before people started buying 2 or 3 cars with them, MOC usage was nice and easy now its hard.....and so the list goes on.

Nowt wrong with being greedy but there is something wrong with being lazy! Laziness means you bring attention to their inept policies and spoil it for everyone else.

Read my reply to ali r.....its not what you got, its how you went about it. I'm all for stuffing tesco......but done cleverly and by spreading it around we might continue to get 'cheap' shopping for a long time to come!

I think I have read plenty of posts on MSE where people have got large hauls when an opportunity comes up. I don't do it myself, just take one or two, but each to their own. I don't think I would have the bottle to do it to be honest. Hope the kids enjoy the chocolate though.

Just bear in mind that people have been banned from stores so might be an idea to keep the DTD to smaller amounts over more stores, if that is possible that is, not sure how many you have near by.

This is purely my oppinion I hasten to add :o

I don't drink much wine so I've only bought stuff in for other people.
Looks like this might be going back then!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
