I don't drink much wine so I've only bought stuff in for other people.
Looks like this might be going back then!!
Input your receipt into the pricecheck thing and see if you get a voucher back before you rush off to take it back. If you get over 17 quid in free shopping then its still a result.0 -

I have bought 6 bottles (3 @ £8.99 each & 3 @ £7.99 each all in the 2 for £12 offer) thinking that better to have 25% off expensive wines but ended up paying £27.24. Will have to take them back tommorrow if this is right.
You should have bought the wine in multiples of 2 rather that 3 if they were 2 for £12 !"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Tesco afterall are a business! If we make what we do TOO obvious by rubbing their noses in it then those policies will change very swiftly. RnR vanished, clubcard points used to be copious before people started buying 2 or 3 cars with them, MOC usage was nice and easy now its hard.....and so the list goes on.
Nowt wrong with being greedy but there is something wrong with being lazy! Laziness means you bring attention to their inept policies and spoil it for everyone else.0 -

I don't do it myself, just take one or two, but each to their own. I don't think I would have the bottle to do it to be honest. Hope the kids enjoy the chocolate though.
Just bear in mind that people have been banned from stores so might be an idea to keep the DTD to smaller amounts over more stores, if that is possible that is, not sure how many you have near by.
This is purely my oppinion I hasten to add
Before today I'd only had a couple of DTD's. One on a set of phones...(but I was actually looking for phones because ours were on the blink) and the other on the 3 for 2 knives which I've given for Xmas pressies
.
Today I had one chicken, 2 packs of rocky biscuits and 4 boxes of Cappuccino's...so hardly big time!!
I wouldn't have the nerve to go through with loads of DTD's but only because I'm chicken!!
I never found many of the 4p items either. I managed some of the pj's, tights, a pack of socks and some trays!!
There were people on here with enormous great piles of it...even car boots filled to the brim with goodies worth hundreds!
I've not found a solitary toy, electrical item, Laptop or TV.....but live in hope!!
I don't begrudge anyone their mega bargains...just wish I could find the bu&&ers!!
I've only got 2 tesco's to choose from so don't want to complain or cause a fuss in either of them.....I'm more of a slowly, slowly, catchy monkey than bull in a china shop:D
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

scamps1966 wrote: »I was going to buy them anyway. If you feel that when and IF they stop DTD' It's my fault then I'll stamp my feet and think of everyone else that has got away with it and get on with life. I try to save the people I know to save money. If you've got a hang up on that, PM me. If not, then go back to enjoying your bargains and stop moaning that you didn't get them whilst they're around. Get it whilst you can is my motto.:D
