Dpends on if the SA actually tried to scan them or not. Usually the tills know when the vouchers are tesco's own.0 -

Evening all
I went to N3wton Abbot T's todat to collect my Direct order (which I was told was ready to collect in store from 4pm yesterday) only to be told it wasn't there.
Bearing in mind it's a 30 mile round trip I wasn't impressed but smiled nicely and said I'd come back next weekend.
Cono sur scanning at £5.99 but did get 6 of the zinfandel which I paid for seperately so hoping for a JTD. It sould work shouldn't it? Never done this before though, so hoping I don't have to take it back!!
Did get loads of whoopsied fruit and veg, 5 of the comforts, 2 blue dragon shots, philadelphia and a dettol no hands thingy.
When I got to the till the SA refused to take a price flop leaflet for the comforts and dettol as she said you can't use 2 lots of coupons for the same thing. She also refused the one for frozen...even though I'd spent more than £5 ( frozen chicken pieces £4.49 and a bag of chips £1.32) She told me I must be wrong as the till wouldn't accept it!!
She then refused the one for the reduced fruit. I'd just managed to spend £5.08 (if you count the 19p reduced tomatoes...but they are actually a fruit!)
The only one she accepted was for the multipack of bacon.
So I'm £3 quid down plus the cost of petrol to have to go back to that store to collect my duvet covers which I was told were there.
Is it worth an email to customer services do you think?
Also.....!!! Placed my first order with Next on Friday for a fur jacket my daughter wanted for Xmas and has sold out in our store. Was told it would arrive the next day so waited in all of yesterday only to get an email at 11.40 pm to say it had been delivered through the letterbox
I was outside in the rain in the pitch black looking for this ruddy jacket until midnight. I phoned them first thing and they agreed something was amiss but it actually turned up this morning when the courier tried sneaking it into the porch......but I caught her!!! (and it was supposed to be signed for!)
I'm waiting to see if they are going to charge me delivery, but don't know whether this is worth a complaint too!!....especially as we wasted a whole Saturday.
Sorry for the rant....but what do you reckon???
I would be complaining alright, about an unfortunate shopping experience, round trip for nothing, then to be refused coupons which can be put in manually if you have spent enough ... did you know go to the CS desk with the coupons?
And I would certainly be complaining about waiting in, then the mystery of the stuff arriving next day.
I would try first phoning CS on the freephone number, if you are not happy with the response, get an email off to the CEO's office: philip.clarke@uk.tesc.com. Unfortunately the only way things ever get better, is by complaining outlining your experience and poor customer service.0 -

Sorry, didnt realise you delivery was from next. For the Tesco problem email philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com.
Dont know much about complaining to Next as I have not done home delivery, but I would be complaining. It clearly isn't good enough.0
