    Evening all
I went to N3wton Abbot T's todat to collect my Direct order (which I was told was ready to collect in store from 4pm yesterday) only to be told it wasn't there.
Bearing in mind it's a 30 mile round trip I wasn't impressed but smiled nicely and said I'd come back next weekend.
Cono sur scanning at £5.99 but did get 6 of the zinfandel which I paid for seperately so hoping for a JTD. It sould work shouldn't it? Never done this before though, so hoping I don't have to take it back!!
Did get loads of whoopsied fruit and veg, 5 of the comforts, 2 blue dragon shots, philadelphia and a dettol no hands thingy.
When I got to the till the SA refused to take a price flop leaflet for the comforts and dettol as she said you can't use 2 lots of coupons for the same thing. She also refused the one for frozen...even though I'd spent more than £5 ( frozen chicken pieces £4.49 and a bag of chips £1.32) She told me I must be wrong as the till wouldn't accept it!!
She then refused the one for the reduced fruit. I'd just managed to spend £5.08 (if you count the 19p reduced tomatoes...but they are actually a fruit!)
The only one she accepted was for the multipack of bacon.
So I'm £3 quid down plus the cost of petrol to have to go back to that store to collect my duvet covers which I was told were there.
Is it worth an email to customer services do you think?

Also.....!!! Placed my first order with Next on Friday for a fur jacket my daughter wanted for Xmas and has sold out in our store. Was told it would arrive the next day so waited in all of yesterday only to get an email at 11.40 pm to say it had been delivered through the letterbox
I was outside in the rain in the pitch black looking for this ruddy jacket until midnight. I phoned them first thing and they agreed something was amiss but it actually turned up this morning when the courier tried sneaking it into the porch......but I caught her!!! (and it was supposed to be signed for!)
I'm waiting to see if they are going to charge me delivery, but don't know whether this is worth a complaint too!!....especially as we wasted a whole Saturday.

Sorry for the rant....but what do you reckon???

you are going to busy emailing complaints tomorrow I think!:D

I have used the price flop and the moc's for comfort and also cheese flop coupon AND cake flop coupon all in one transaction.

And the price flop household didnt scan in local metro but the SA keyed it in manually.

    hth

T's is so hit and miss isnt it, would be so nice to have some consistancy..........by which I mean nice Sa's and cheap goods :rotfl:

    WELL SAID

and OMG what language do I have to speakin to stop people asking for coupons on this thread??

Best way to get T's to limit our use of vouchers is to use them incorrectly.

I agree with you, like the people using them to gain 20 bottles or more?

I fully understand your language and I am so sorry I didn't realise I was doing any wrong by asking, I do try to keep up with this forum, however it is difficult when you are not sat at the computer 24/7, I did go back 20 pages before I asked the dreaded question but found nothing saying otherwise,

We are all on this forum trying to do the same thing, save a little money, I hardly post on this site due to feeling intimidated as to whether I have said the right thing or not and I bet I am not alone on feeling this way,

Many thanks for letting me know about the Tesco Price Check, It is the first time I have used it and will look forward to getting my email tomorrow then,

    Many thanks again

purdita I'd deffo complain - both to tescos and next! cheek lady trying to sneak your package back! what did she say when you'd caught her?

oh and re your reduced fruit - "Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad" - came to mind when you said the SA wouldn't take your coupon!

    Hi

please dont think I was having a go at you personally - I wasnt :D

As for getting 20 or more comfort......I see nothing wrong with that as long as the coupons are used correctly .....I have quite a few:D

Sorry you dont feel welcome to post on here..........I didnt mean to bite it's just that we have had SO many people coming on just to ask for the coupon, and although we love to share (and I share lots by pm!) we dont want this thread closed by mods due to breaking the rules on coupons.

I would be devastated if this thread closed ...it's a lifeline for me for saving money and for giggles:D

So, welcome all , please join in:D

I actually made her jump when I whipped the door open as she was soooooo quietly putting it on a pile of muddy wellies!
She just said that it should have been with me yesterday but she had too many parcels to deliver.
I felt like saying that I thought she'd put it through the letterbox late last night!!
I think what has happened is that Next promise next day delivery and so the courier has fibbed and said she delivered it just before midnight. Naughty isn't it :)

Oh and good line about the tomatoes....I might just pinch that one to use in my email !!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
