Aww - Logie - i know how you feel about morning sicknes... i promise that it will go away eventually - i thought it never would.. but you will feel better soon. :)

any tips or advice - Give me a shout. x

Thanks hun, never had any last time so it's a bit of a surprise! Have got sea sick bands on, tried ginger, eating, not eating, flat coke. Nothing seems to make much difference to the nausea. Luckily managing to keep some things down so think i'm staying fairly well hydrated. I know Dr can give out tablets but they'd be a real last resort for me. Trying to just ride it out and not moan too much lol! Know so many people that would love to be in my situation but can't get pregnant so I should be grateful x

Have you tried sucking sugar free polo mints? It was the only thing that helped me. Might be worth a try :)

Lol if only up here in Glasgow you just leave the beer in the car and let nature deal with it at this time of the year ;)

was just about to log off - but i tried al of these things too - but the one thing that seemed to help the most was smelling something that i liked... a nice perfume on a tissue, Olbas Oil, or lavender oil etc.... seemed to really help when the nausiia was bad. xxxx

When I suffered with 24/7 morning sickness, I went to the health food shop and got dried pineapple chunks, Only £1.50 for 500g or something like that. They are really sweet, so I just popped a couple in my mouth and sucked on them like they were boiled sweets, nausea disapeared.

Did relieve them of some more dm and lollies though :-)

Found some cashews but they went through at full price

Couldnt find any vegetable crisps anywhere

My local extra doesn't seem to stock digital photo frames any more either:(

OK, back from Sw'nd on extra, scanner is working HOWEVER it's not in English and will only round up to the nearest pound, I scanned something SEL £8.99 and it came up "9.0Ko", I also tested it on some wipes which are £1 and it said "1.0Ko", not massively helpful but better than nothing! Xmas catalogues are still parked in front of it so I assume they will disappear once it's been fixed!

Checked for a Surf offer, nothing there HOWEVER the surf small & mighty 28 wash bottles are reduced to £4. Look where there is one called something like mountain mist or misty hills or something, (RHS behind the clip-strip), it says £4 below BUT for the 54 wash bottle! I checked all the other 28s, it's only on this one. I don't know if they do a 54 wash bottle of this particular one, there certainly was no sign today but it's something you should definitely look out for!

Got 5 x comfort pure, checkout woman only scanned 3 coupons so panicked a bit when told to go to customer service, not an eyelid was batted, £1.50 instantly refunded! BTW do people generally leave out the credit or clubcards when doing this deal? I plan on getting plenty more bottles so left out the clubcard and paid cash.....

Also popped to Asda en route home, great offer on maltesers 360g box, £4 each or 2 for £5! Woohoo!

Hope everyone's having a good night and not (ha!) drinking too much?

  • Someone asked about the fudge. Firstly a million thanks to the person who mentioned it on here! :T (sorry I cant remember who it was)

Its tesco cornish dairy fudge 175g bags. They are in boxes marked up as 3 for £2 but scan at their full price so its almost free fudge with DTD.
