Nahteb20 - Its not a 1 off...... my OH went with a hurting knee the other week..... they said it was his hamstring......

still in pain 2 days later so HAD to go back to a and e.... said it was just swollen... nothing wrong..

called him up a week later - turns out that a consultant re-checked his xray and said that it was a serious problem and he had to go fr an emergency MRI scan.... has to have an Operation in January.... only reason its taken so long is the fact that we wouldnt manage if he was in a wheelchair atm with me being preggers. xx

seems like its a common mistake

Ouch!!! that sounds really bad, I hope it heals quickly for you xxx

Just one question, did you see the x ray at all?

The only reason i'm asking is not to be funny but my DD who is 12 fell last week in dance class in school, really hurt her foot, can not put any weight on it and was in total agony, my OH took her to A&E and they did x ray and she was see by the nurse practitioner, was told it wasnt broken just soft tissue damage and take pain killers and walk on it, otherwise it would get stiff and feel worse.
So a few days at home and she still cant walk on it, and really swollen and in pain so Tuesday we took her back to A&E and were told ohh sorry someone made a mistake she has actually broken 2 bones in her foot!!!
The senior consultant was very sorry for the mistake and showed up the x ray and even we coukd see it plain as day and i dont really know what i'm looking for!

Whilst I was waiting my friend rang me and said double check as she had the same was sent home NOT broken 3 days later a phonecall to go in as it actually was broken, I'll see how it is in a few days if its still agony im going back in.

TBH the hospital really couldnt care less they gave me painkillers but never asked if I was allergic or told me what they were

This is like the 6 and 7th no its not 3 days later yes it is story I have heard tonight, apparantly its quite difficult to see a foot fracture.

Just emaied Philip Clark about which stores are actually 'offering' the biscuits, drinking chocolate and cappachinos, and have just had this reply

Dear X XXXXXXX

Thank you for your email which is receiving our attention.

Kind Regards,

I asked them to confirm that if the magazine was in a store, then that store is a 'specific' one!!
I'll get back when I hear of anything.;);)

I emailed general customer service, rather than CEO's on Tuesday.
Their customer service has been examplary.
Standard we've received and will get back to you.
Email this morning to say they rang and couldn't get through.
They rang again this afternoon, very efficient young lady, fully aware of the details of my email. Grasped the problem. Logged and investigating why a superstore didn't have the offers as in the leaflet.
Moneycard on it's way.
Wish CS desks in store were as efficient.

Well, it was built in the Soviet era so who knows what it can do.

It was built as the tallest building for miles and miles as a show of the Soviets strength and might. But these days hotels nearby dwarf it.

• yes, thats the one i watched where the amish came to london.

was reallly interesting.

How did they get on here? I bet it was a culture shock. I somehow doubt they would have wanted to stay and I bet they were itching to get back home?
