    cut from the telegraph article

Make a complaint. Judith says: “I emailed Heinz after I bought one of their big tubs of baked beans with a screwtop lids, and said it had been in my fridge for a while and had gone a bit mouldy. And they sent me a £2 gift voucher, apologising. But my phrase 'a while’, well, that could mean three weeks.”

    excuse me isnt that fraud???????

I picked up a handful of price drop mags to distribute at our Christmas fair which people have looked through and left. I understand that tesco have now withdrawn them from most shops now. Have they fixed the heros and celebrations glitch?
Just wondering if its worth taking one down with me if they are still going through at £10?:)

what a fun day! popped to Ts this morning...got X comforts, 4 of the kenco, lots of blue dragon sauces, frozen veg and fresh fruit, cheese and 4 of the Holts de-icer....got bill down from £54.92 to £3.50 with coupons!!!! Then been tonight to another local...got another X comfort, more blue dragon sauces, 2 more kenco, 1p car signs, 11 packs of sweets for £1, a colgate 360 toothbrush (reduced sel £1.04...£1 moc!!!)...and also found the sharpies laundry pens..had 2 SELs...one 50p and one £2.50! Also found 3 different cars pen set things (SEL £8)..scanned all 3 and one was 36p...went back and they had 8 left ..so took them all to go with the Tinkerbell ones I got for 80p (during the Sept crazy sale)...next years kids friends b-day presents sorted!! Strangely though the other 2 scanned at £8 and they were Cars ones...the reduced ones were Cars2...weird!!

At 1st store, SA asked me where it said BOGOF on the kenco so showed her the mag...she said it only applied to a SEL or sign...I explained the brochure was a sign...she replied with 'hhhhmmphhh..i do know my job you know'...then tried to give me JTD...I said it should be DTD...she said she'd have to check with duty manager who was next to her having a convo about her car parking space with someone...after 5 mins I aksed if she would interupt her...she refused...so i said 'the board behind you states Ts policy-why do you have to check with her if you claim to know your job?'....she huffed a bit and gave me DTD!!!

At the second store, the chap said DTD wasnt due on the sharpies as technically the SEL of £2.50 was there...I just laughed and said, 'errr, you cant put multiple prices on the shelf and pick which one you want to use!'....he had to check with DM over the kenco anyway, and they agreed to give me DTD on the lot!!

So all in all my shopping today has gone from £103.31 to £13.40......gotta love Ts ;)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

I did this tonight, but what a battle I had to get my refund! I bought two identical joints (both British), one marked as half price, the other not. The non-stickered one (older stock) went through at £7.99/kilo. The CS person was adamant that I should just go and pick one of the cheaper ones off the shelf. Failing that she tried to give me a refund of half the cost but couldn't work out the sum. She then got really flustered and tried and failed to get the manager on the phone. I had to gently enquire several times as to what the overcharging policy was before she caved and gave me the refund all the time muttering about how much trouble she was going to get into. You would have thought the money was coming out of her wages!
I had a similar run in with a duputy manager the other night about the McVities biscuits, I.E. not honouring the book price saying i was abusing the DTD system. Then I said something along the lines of 'it's not your money' He said 'Yes it is I'm a shareholder'!!! I then replied, If that was the case then I pay your wages and as a customer, I'm right!! Biscuits were taken off of me and told to leave!!:(
