:mad::mad:I've just watched this programme and was disgusted by Judith (the midwife).:mad::mad:

I cannot believe Channel 4 broadcasted this show because she was promoting stealing. She mentioned in the show that she was going to complain about the pizza that she bought saying that her son did not like the tomato on the pizza, whereas he had no issue with this; ergo stealing from the pizza company.

Also, when she arranged the charity 'coffee morning'. I could not believe that she took the £15 that she spent on the shopping out of the takings. As it is for charity she should have left the money in.

On these two counts I think she is a dispicable woman and I am surprised that Channel 4 allowed this to be broadcasted, as it advocates dishonesty.

One reason I am posting this here is that on the channel 4 website she mentions that she uses this site and I wouldn't want anyone else here to be tarred with the same brush or the same of any of the MSE team.

What do other people think or have I turned into a moaning old man way too early (I'm 32).

Hmmmmmmm 32 eh ? Don't suppose you got any Tesco 4p boxers ? Just asking like ;)

can you still get the kopparberg cider coupon can you send me a link pls
OMG....I've just gone on my facebook profile to see how I got the voucher and I've got the wrong stuff free

It's Rekorderlig cider I've got the vouchers for and I made a mistake and thought it was Kopparberg and picked two up in Tesco's and two in Morrisons (Husbands email address)`and they were accepted in both stores with the SA putting them through!

I'm not sure if it's still running but it's Rekorderlig you need to "like" and there should be a free bottle link on the left hand side of their fb wall

OP is 'Original Poster' so the person who posted the deal. If someone posts a good tip people generally say "thanks OP" to make sure they know they're grateful or if they've forgotten who the OP is but don't want to seem ignorant.

Oh right, what is the OP board I've heard someone mention then? Am I being thick? *yes*

Just wanted to pop in and say thank you for MSE, not only does it help with my home budget, but we have just done a Christmas fair for our school this evening, and most of the stall prizes were from this web site!! Smartie tubes, wine gummies, megga lollies, lots of 1p halloween chocs, knockdown stationary in the lucky dip, That bike wine in the water and wine stall, even the refreshments were served on a multitude of 'leaf' trays!!!

Had been stocking up on free campbells soup from the voucher thread which stocked hampers and filled out the tombola!! The list is endless!

It ment that we still made a decent profit but people got nice prizes that cost a lot less than they were actually worth, but could keep stall prices quite low so everyone could have a good time, got nice things without it costing the earth (especially for families with several children!)

Thank you MSE and all who share their glitches:T:T:T

  • Thought i would share with you my DTD find today, fresh shoulder of New Zealand Lamb were on a promotion end, half price from £7.99 to £3.99 a kilo. However they had put the same sel in the normal shelf with the £7.99 a kilo British shoulder of Lamb. These shoulders are aprox £20 each.

C.s person tried to say offer only applicable to the New Zealand lamb, but i sucessfully argued sel doesn't state origin, thus was given DTD meaning a £20 shoulder of lamb for free.:j

sel was removed, but one to look out for on your next trip.

I did this tonight, but what a battle I had to get my refund! I bought two identical joints (both British), one marked as half price, the other not. The non-stickered one (older stock) went through at £7.99/kilo. The CS person was adamant that I should just go and pick one of the cheaper ones off the shelf. Failing that she tried to give me a refund of half the cost but couldn't work out the sum. She then got really flustered and tried and failed to get the manager on the phone. I had to gently enquire several times as to what the overcharging policy was before she caved and gave me the refund all the time muttering about how much trouble she was going to get into. You would have thought the money was coming out of her wages!
If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...
