I've just caught up & watched the end of coupon woman - where she was handing over the wads of coupons - she definitely gave a Sainsburys conditional spend (which are now no longer accepted) but I'm sure she gave over a sainsburys "specific item" one too - which has never been allowed, has it??

This year I have saved a lot of money mainly due to the Tesco Double the Difference guarantee in the spring. Over 6-8 weeks I benefited from over £1000 of Tesco goods for free.

    Bloody halfweight :p

I work as a Midwife part time at the local hospital. My spare time is taken up with being a housewife, running a busy parent and toddler group, being an active member of the local Baptist Church where I play my flute in the band. I also set up and co-ordinate charity lunches supporting Fairtrade through the local Church.

Yeah your that charitble that you took expenditure out of the pot and bagged yourself a free lunch, hmm wonder what him upstairs has to say about that.

We have raised over £1000 this year through the lunches and the money is given to charities supporting Fairtrade. I keep chickens in the back garden and they are supposed to keep us well supplied in eggs, though they have recently forgotten that part of the deal!!

They probably arent keen on the vienetta and Pizza's your feeding them cos they are free.

My earliest memory of money saving is when I was 10-11 years old. I began using my pocket money to open bank and building society accounts. I did this because they were giving away free money boxes and other freebies to entice junior savers. I soon had an account in all the local branches. I began opening accounts when we were on holiday, and the money box became my take home souvenir. I only ever paid in the minimum opening balance which was usually £1. I soon decided to try to have an account in every different bank and building society in the country, and over 4-5 years amassed over 180 accounts.:eek::eek:

:mad::mad:I've just watched this programme and was disgusted by Judith (the midwife).:mad::mad:

I cannot believe Channel 4 broadcasted this show because she was promoting stealing. She mentioned in the show that she was going to complain about the pizza that she bought saying that her son did not like the tomato on the pizza, whereas he had no issue with this; ergo stealing from the pizza company.

Also, when she arranged the charity 'coffee morning'. I could not believe that she took the £15 that she spent on the shopping out of the takings. As it is for charity she should have left the money in.

On these two counts I think she is a dispicable woman and I am surprised that Channel 4 allowed this to be broadcasted, as it advocates dishonesty.

One reason I am posting this here is that on the channel 4 website she mentions that she uses this site and I wouldn't want anyone else here to be tarred with the same brush or the same of any of the MSE team.

What do other people think or have I turned into a moaning old man way too early (I'm 32).
