Nikkilala could have done some with her left over smarties boxes

nik and the wedding lady were similar in their initiatives, but the difference was she didn't have any alcohol - each to their own.

cheaper still if you just dont get married at all ;)

So this price check celebrations carry on, con or what eh!
Asda website clearly had the celebrations for £5.00, yet Tesco have chosen to play difficult like they did yesterday.

 I need to have a quick read of their T&C's regarding their price check and maybe a little nudge yet again. Bad customer relations etc etc ;)

I put in a price check receipt yesterday and its come back saying Asda don't sell the celebrations - THEY CLEARLY DO!!!:mad:

I know they say they don't enter into any correspondance regarding the price check, but don't you think this is a bit unfair???

I also maged to get some of the cadbury B1G2F puddings and use a £1 moc from the price drop magazine. Had a bit of an argument with CS as she said it was for finest cakes/puddings only but it doesn't say that on the coupon, she gave in in the end and begrudingly handed me my £1.

I've had a look on the Tesco website and in the mag but can't find any mention of these. Could you tell me a bit more about what these are please? Thank you!
  • Hi everyone!

Sorry I disappeared again for a few days after only just properly saying hello, I haven't been well and didn't feel upto posting.

Really chuffed as the hampers I'm doing for the elderly people are starting to really come along! :T I'm very proud as I've never made a hamper before! Thank you to the people who gave me some ideas for things to put in, jigsaws are a great idea that I hadn't thought of, I'm on the look out for some atm! :)

And French Knickers, what a lovely idea, giving some of your whoopsies to your neighbours, that's something I shall certainly think about from now on!

Managed to get to T's today, got the pyrex dishes and tried the cappuccino (from the price drop leaflet), surprise surprise no b1g1f came off, but I was told at cs that "offers were correct at time of printing" and since the SEL didn't mention the offer I wasn't entitled to it. :( So I had to get a refund because £4.52 for two boxes seemed a bit much to me! Consoling myself with the 1p shrek bulging bugs sweets I found, which are sooo nice! Just wish I'd discovered them before now, as I got the last packet! Oh well - know what I'll be looking for next halloween!

Also, 10 DM's MAY have jumped into my trolley.... can't think how that could have happened! ;) I'm going to have to wrap up all the ones I'm using for stocking fillers in a min before they mysteriously disappear!

Gutted I missed out on the free celebrations/heroes!! Well done to everyone who got them! :T
