Thanks for this, found those exact barcodes in two stores and both scanned full price  I don't get it!

It has to be a metro not an extra, it is the same barcode I wouldn't have believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
  • Is a golden receipt when you get DTD and CS do not write on the receipt meaning you can go to another store and claim it again?

You know I'm really naffed off about these dam celebrations TBH. Firstly because of the mis leading price in the article I can't se anywhere that it states offers may be withdrawn early and all the guff that the duty managers gave us.

No matter how long or how hard I stood my ground at 2 stores none of those duty managers were going to budge, yet the third store not a problem. Surely this might be something for trading standards?

I know exactly how you feel. I emailed CS yesterday, no reply as yet, except for the standard, we've received your email, email.

Makes me more determined to find the glitches and reductions.

Went on a bit of a mission tonight had to get some stocking fillers for the kids and also wanted some heroes/celebrations, tried fle**sbr***e but chickened out there as they had no leaflets and no sign of where they were in store and i know they can be a bit difficult, headed up to tow** p**k and got 3 tins of chocs had a leaflet on me that i picked up earlier in store, headed off to customer service and explained that according to leaflet been overcharged lady behind desk decided to get manager as she couldnt make decision also quoting selected stores.

Manager came over and started with selected stores only so i asked where they were he didnt know, he then offered to sell at £5 so i pointed to the dtd sign and got it doesnt apply as the sel is correct and the leaflet doesnt count, so i told himit was not god enough and started ring cs in front of him he then went away to check the sel again and eventually came back and grudgingly said he would honour the dtd, and then told me he would not do it again for me on these products. he was just about to take my leaflet when i asked for it back as it had vouchers inside so got my leaflet back as well.

First time i have had to fight to get dtd back kids were well pleased when they saw me come home with 3 big tins of choccies :j
