Same here how do you show the other store price to get JTD?
1. Buy shopping in Ts
2. Go to https://www.tescopricecheck.com/PriceCheck/Pages/Default.aspx and enter the receipt details as per instructions on screen
3. Wait until the following day (or maybe the next or maybe the next) and you should get an email back to the address you supplied. Click the link and it'll tell you if Ts were cheaper or dearer than Asda for your shopping. If Ts were dearer then a link is provided to print a coupon.
4. Take the printed coupon and your original receipt to Ts and simply hand it to the cashier with your payment
There are several reasons for trying to get JTD but the one I use is to attain the minimum spend for a money-off coupon. A good example recently was on the wine glitch. Ts had their 25% off wine event on but for some (great) reason when the price comparison was done against As, the price shown for what you bought in Ts was the price before the 25% discount. This meant a bigger JTD voucher. Now for the money-off coupon. Either the Daily Fail or the Sun had a MOC for £5 off £40. Buying 6 bottles of a particular Gallo wine brought you to within £2 of the £40 so buying a couple of bars of chocolate got you to the total so in essence, another £3+ saved by meeting the minimum spend.
Hope that made sense as it's late and I'm currently consuming a glass of Gallo from a bottle which cost less that £1 yet retails at over £6 and all because of JTD and a MOC :beer:0 -

Managed to get a few though through persistence. Be prepared to stand your ground or to walk away when you come to a dead end.
