    JumbleJack, where are you?
  • Re the Chuggington sets, I got two of the starter sets so there would be more track (still very small though) My sister got the 23 piece additional set for £3 (for me from her local Ts) but the track is completely different and can't be joined onto the starter set! I have written to the company to ask why it isn't clear on the box that they can't be intergrated.
Hels/y have the balloons in, left 12 on shelf. I thought they would have been cleared by the lurker that cleared the shelf (of 10) packs of the zebra pens on Saturday. DM scanning full price, nothing else of note to report.

Are the Chuggington sets both die-cast sets as I think the newer sets are not die-cast trains?

    That might be the reason.

Hi. Thanks to everyone who answered my query about the travel cot, sheets etc. I've tried thanking you all but the thanks button disappeared for a while and I can't multi-quote all the replies as it only lets you do two.
You all know who you are though:cool:

I am looking to get the cheapest one - not seen any travel cot sheets at Tesco, only cot sheets which are bigger (prefer fitted ones). Also it depends which travel cot we get as they seem to be different sizes?

Doubt my local Sainsbury stocks them but will give them a ring about the Red Kite one tomorrow (it's about £29 online still:()

Sorry if I've missed anything out.

    Hello :)

I've got tons of pages to catch up :(

today wasn't as nice as I hoped :( If a wonder will happen and I'll be offered the job(but doubt it) then it will be very hard work and very unsure too... I'd much prefer the first one but they still didn't make a decision...

came back home to a total mess because of the floors so we had to tidy up more or less but still lots for tomorrow...

and to add to it I've got a bl00dy cold! :(

I'll see ya all tomorrow... hope it will be a better day...

    Hi
Just wanted to give the guys that helped me last night an update went to store this morning to get my dtd on second phone set and the same manager was on I explained CS had told me to come back to store for dtd and the ref and phone number HO had gave me, to which she replied I dont think thats true I will have to ring and check, I said not a problem theres the phone number, 45 mins later still stood at CS with her and she says she cant get through to the number I provided so rang another number and it was confirmed to her she had to give the dtd she was a rude nasty cow! didnt offer any apology for having me standing like a criminal, and took my original receipt and wouldn't return it just gave me a photocopy, asked 3 times for original back as there were toys on it that might need to be exchanged if kids already have them, so had to ring CS again they have given me an apology and were really helpful also sending me a £10 moneycard for the bother and ringing her manager to get it all sorted,
Sorry for the long post but just wanted to let everyone know that helped me exactly what happened xx

Sorry you had so much trouble when you went back :(. She should definately have given you your receipt back and I hope she gets a good telling off from HO.
On the plus side, if this is your first experience with DTD, it may have been horrible but any more will be a breeze now as you will know exactly where you stand and they won't be able to pull any tricks next time :D
