I hope you stay with us, your posts are always good, polite and balanced and have to admit your user id is soo positive it always stands out. It makes me feel good. :)

Please remember there are lots of other threads here on mse that you will maybe feel more comfortable in while going through these difficult times. I do hope you can find something helpful here outside the tesco threads but wish you well regardless and will be pleased to see you return to any of the various boards/threads.

  • Well folks, I'm taking inspiration from you guys, have got off my A*S, stopped sulking over non contact, and done OH a box full of tesco Glitch Goodies.

Cant send chocolate (would be congealed mess by the time it got there), however, Haribo ghosts, Nivea Aftershave balm stuff and cheap suntan lotion will be winging its way to the sand pit

However, I have a mission, should anyone chose to accept. I dont get to see OH till feb when he gets 2 weeks R&R before heading back for a few more months :(

Sooooo, Christmas presents need to be able to fit into a shoebox, be something not too expensive, but something to put a smile on his face. Any suggestions? xx

Dont post often but follow the grabbit threads.......how about sending other half something smelling of your favourite perfume....or one that will remind him of you......so it would bring you and home a little closer to him .......x
  • i really don't mean to offend anyone but why is it only the muslim jokes that offend people?

i could have quite easily have taken offence over the woman jokes, the blonde jokes and the comment about the sheep...

and nobody seemed to batter an eyelid over the priest and young boy joke.

maybe it's just me but i do get a little annoyed.

I only joined recently but it was such a lovely thread with wonderful community spirit. Instead I am sat hear with tears in my eyes.
We were brought here by one common aim, T's glitches and misprices and we have been torn apart by differences and bickering :(

    Final Score
    Chelsea 1 Liverpool 2

I apologise in advance for todays two songs of the day somewhat indulgent of me

To the tune of "Singin The Blues"

I never felt more like singin the blues,
when Rangers win & Chelsea lose,
Oh Rangers you got me singin the blues !

(I know it doesn't make sense football chants rarely do)

    and re yesterday
    Stoke 2 QPR 3

    Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
    Jingle, all the way
Of what fun it is to see
    Rangers win away

    :xmassmile:xmastree:

Glad someones happy :)....We are a Chelsea supporting household :(. My poor DH has gone to bed in a foul mood tonight.....though you think he'd be used to it after supporting them for 40+ years :p.
