    bickering can become a habit which eventually lead to frustration and resentment and outright arguments! Nip it in the bud now!
    Develop a sense of humour, and when it seems bickering is starting try diffusing the situation with humour. you know your family best, so say or do something which will make them laugh! you cannot bicker while laughing!
    when my kids were coming up to teen years thats ALL they did, bicker constantly. I got so fed up one day I put on my best 'Nursery School Teacher' voice and told them 'Now, children we cannot have this - you either stop this bickering or there is NO jelly and ice-cream for tea'! they just looked at me and burst out laughing - looked at each other and agreed that mum was losing the plot!
    it did get a bit wearing making up things to say which sounded completely mad, but it did work and was better than hearing them bicker!
