Hey guys,
This is something that happened to me. I was using AOL Gold (512 Kbps). One day I thought of upgrading to AOL Platinum. But, I didn't find it so useful. So i downgraded to Gold in the 1 week cool off period. However, after the downgrade, my speed is still the same as Platinum. Is this something I'm reading wrong or someone has experienced the same?
Also, for all those who are using the AOL software to logon to your ISP, there's a good news. You can now dial using the regular dial up method. Hope this news is not too old on MSE. I'm coming back after a few months.
Cheers
Terry

AOL Gold is now 1Mb for £24.99/month and Platinum is 2Mb for £29.99/month. They are upgrading everyone to higher speeds at no extra cost which is why your still connecting at 1Mb.0

But i'm still being billed 24.99. That's where the confusion is.......Every action has an equal and opposite reaction!0

There's no confusion - everyone is now getting the old platinum service at the gold price, as this has become the new gold standard - platinum has increased too. Well, I say everyone - they are rolling it out, I probably won't get the increase for ages........
Also, yes you can dial up - but they charge you per minute!
