Slow SKY broadband - stats may suggest I can receive faster?

I've had BT in the office recently sorting out my business broadband and I mentioned in passing that my SKY broadband at home was very slow. He said to check my stats which I have done and I'm wondering if I could be getting faster speeds than I actually am. I know they capped my speeds a few years due to lost of dropped connections, but I'm wondering if I can ask them to remove the cap if it looks like I can get more.

These are the stats from the router...

Connection Speed 1535 kbps 398 kbps
Line Attenuation 50.5 db 30.7 db
Noise Margin 7.3 db 7.3 db

Now the attentuation and noise margin are not that much different to what I've got in the office and I have approx 6Mbps there!

Should I be able to get faster speeds with SKY?

Thanks in advance.
