Which dishwasher tablets do you use?

I have used a variety over time and some don`t give good results. I like to use an all in one and I like fairy platinum as it also cleans the dishwasher. They work out at 15p each from costco. Aldi ones are 10p each. 15p a day for a full load is good value and less than I thought as I used to think it was more expensive to run the dishwasher. All the dishes come out sparkling these days0

I use 1 tbsp of bicarb and 1 tbsp borax and it washes lovely. i do use salt and rinseaid (vinegar) as i live in a hardwater area0

Tesco value or Aldi.
I've never had any problems with either.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
We use Daisy dishwasher powder from Tes(o, we find that it lasts for months and months, and we can control how much goes in to each wash depending on how mucky/greasy the pots and pans are0

Moons ago now I used to buy Finish, both liquid and powder, then it was Fairy.
Now I use Lidl's tablets (for the last 18 months or so after they were recommended by Which? magazine) which are brilliant - we have a Neff dishwasher - and I also use their salt and rinse aid as well. We have never had any problems even with the most baked on item, it has brought it all up beautifully.
I run an empty wash evry month with a mug full of white vinegar and that keeps it clean and sweet smelling and I also regularly wipe around the edges of the door seals as well.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Always either Mr T's value/ daisy ones - and only half a tablet at a time - gives excellent results. Why pay more?Resolution:

Another vote for Tesco Daisy ones, have been using them for ages. I also chop them in half if I dont have any grimy pots or pans to wash.
The empty wash with a cup of vinegar is a good tip too. My Mum suggested this and it does work.0 -
Forgot to add we use the d/washer salt form aldi and its fine(anyone else buy it elsewhere), we use either the value tabs or whatevers on a good offer, recently 1 of them finish d/washer gadgets where you load the thing with the round of 12 washes(got em cheap months ago as vouchers were in the sun and online so got packs for like 50p or whatever). Our d/washer is also bosch but we're finding the baskets are rusting away and the prongs that hold the plates upright are falling off.0

@sda smart price for me. I only use half a tablet at a time as it using a whole one didn't make the dishes cleaner! I don't use salt or rinse aid as we are in a very soft water area.0

I use any value supermarket tablet, one half. DW salt and rinse aid always, but also own brand or Lidl (very good) as we're in a hard water area. Occasionally (once a month), I add a bit of washing soda to the tablet, it helps with cleaning the DW itself.Cogito, ergo sum.0
