  • Its just the one, have passed the others so not too bothered if don't do that task (just a bit frustrating lol) - got one attempt left :). I've done LB and LF (still doing) and this seems easier

I was all ready to start doing some crowdsourcing work on Friday night and over the weekend but then a couple of issues cropped up. I couldn't get the whole screen to load whilst doing some of the qualifying tests so reported them as technical issues. Still haven't received a reply so not sure if to just try the tests again but risk losing one of my chances or to just hang on and see what reply I get.

Then today I received an email inviting me to apply for a web search evaluator position. I assume this is similar to the LB role I was doing but they do seem to be a lot stricter/less flexible about the times that you can do this work. Anyway I've applied and will see what comes of it... nothing ventured etc!

Yeah they are stricter over times (you cant nail 12 hours a day like LB). I am recommending them however, I'm finding them more professional than LB and you get good feedback and communications from them (on the whole). And the most important thing.. unlike LB/LF you are guaranteed the work.

I'm currently working on some crowdsourcing tasks and seems to be quite a lot of work available :j but does anybody know how to pause the work ie stop the countdown timer if you want a break??

Ignore the timer and if you want to take a break click the grey arrow thing at the top (I've not been on for a while so can't remember what it is) then go back in when you're ready.

Same here essjaytee but I'm not sure I can fit in the hours they want a week every week with my other commitments. I'm working for LB as well and they've had quite a lot of work available over the last couple of weeks but I'm sure that won't last! I'd be interested in finding out how you get on..and I'll have to make my decision about ABH soon.....15 hours a week I could ,manage every week but 20/22 will be just too much!

Many thanks! It's my first day of doing some actual work for them today and been sat with my legs crossed for ages now... lol

I don't have a problem with the number of hours but tbh I'm not sure if I would able to do all the strict hours (ie 4 hour shifts here and there) as I have a full time job already which although is very flexible and I'm able to use internet all day (occasionally did LB work whilst quiet at main job) but doing 4 hours of ABH work might be pushing my luck a bit lol... but I will see how it goes.

If I'm not able to do this web search evaluation work then I can always stick to the crowdsourcing work as that is completely flexible. Besides, I've not even been accepted to do the exam yet so might be getting ahead of myself!

There is a small amount of flexibility (within reason), I'd mail your manager asking how strict on time they want to be.
