    Hi, its my daughters first holy communion in may, she doesnt want to wear a veil but i saw a beautiful long ribbon hairpiece on ebay, it was on a buy it now and i put it on my watch list and five minutes later it had gone, what i was wondering is does anybody know where i could get something similar.thank you

    That looks easy enough to make - do you know anyone that is handy at this kind of thing. A clip and some fancy ribbon, a bit of stitching a glueing and you can be done faster than you can say hail Mary.
  • Great idea to buy a pair of white sandals for use during the summer too. Never thought about doing that. Thanks (wonder if Clarks do them)

    Not sure i've i'm too late responding to this post but figure most holy communions are around May/June. If you talk to the priest or helpers at the church they normally have details of local places you can get dresses and veils etc from.
