Sky broadband question on usage

Hey I have a Sky everyday lite broadband package where the usage is 2GB allowance per month and I pay £5 per month. I just checked on my Sky online and checked my usage over the year and Im usually over 10gb every month for the last 12 months, does this mean Sky will start charging me extra anytime soon?

I was over regularly and they emailed to let me know if it continued they would move me to unlimited (for a cost), and the following month they did. Think it's £7.50 pm after the Sky Talk discount.

I was in the same position as you, had lite for 3 years and went over the 2GB limit every month but never heard anything from sky. however got an email from them lat month stating due to some error they had not been monitoring my account for broadband usage and they would be from now on. Stated that if i went over the 2gb limit in 2 consecutive months I'd automatically get put on to broadband unlimited.

I upgraded anyway to unlimited after the email, quidco were doing £70 for upgrading + 6 months half price

I would say if you haven't had a similar email from sky then keep using it as you have been!

I was on Lite which for ages which was free and then they charged me £5 a month for always going over 2gb, anyone think they will charge me £7.50 anytime soon?

Yes they will. An extra £2.50 for unlimited is good value.
