Pigpen - Your an inspiration and a bit of a head case I think (in the nicest possible way)

    Right COFFEEEEEEEEE

I'll take it as a compliment.. I think lol.. I've been called far worse.. noone at school talks to me because they all think I am utterly weird .. nothing to do with the pink glittery shoes and furry coat, I swear! After talking to me a few times most do concur that I'm not as weird as they thought I would be.. I take that well too!

A cuppa sounds good.. T with 2 sugars please (got to get my energy from somewhere!!)

another 15 minutes .. *sigh* this is REALLY annoying me now.. why can I not get motivated??

Listed 3 lots of school stuff while drinking cuppa.. :D

Back room half done.. troops collected from school and are
    tidying the rest!

No idea what DH is having for dinner though.. I was meant to be buying something when I went out to school.. took my bag.. no purse!!! DOH!!!

The teachers at school just asked me if I would apply for the parent governor vacancy.. I said I'll see if anyone else applies... if they don't I'll put my paper in at last minute.. I don't want competition, I'm not a good loser lol. I did add that none of the parents like me they all think I am weird and mouthy lol

    I don't drink wine Shell.. can I have a bacardi ??

Really really peed off. had my tesco order delivered on Tues. Just took chicken out of fridge to cook for roast and it has gone off!! The idiot doing the picking picked one with the days date of my order! I guess in part it is my fault because I never even thought to look at the date knowing I was cooking it today. Phone customer services and full price was refunded (funny even though it had the day of my order date on it I was charged full price??).

Only problem now is what to have for tea? as the rest of my fresh meat I was getting from the butcher at the market tomorrow.

    GRRRRRR - sorry rant over.

Back on topic I have done nothing on my list, spent last hour reading library books to littles. Elise just suggested pizza for tea so off to put BM on.

PIGPEN - Oh, got a new bottle of bacardi in the cupboard!

I've finished the bedroom now. It's hubby's birthday so we're going to have a takeaway as a treat as it's cheaper than going out. I know we should cook something nice but we both feel like we've been run over by a truck - partly emotion but I think we're getting ds's virus too.

Going to do a quick 27 fling boogie in any room that needs it until he gets home then it's off to see my dad for an hour as it's also his birthday. This is freeing up two drawers in the bedroom where i'd been saving their presents from the sales so i'll need another little sort out in there sometime. Right, time for puddy cat cuddles. I'm going to try and put a piccie on here of him so you know who you've been thinking about.

I've been busy cleaning today. Took our cat to the vet full of tears to be told he's improved enough to keep him going a bit longer. We're not talking months but he's happy and demanding enough to just take it day by day! I was so not expecting that so he's going to get spoilt rotten!

I'm so pleased to hear that! :j Have been thinking about you all day. It's so nice to hear a happy ending for a change. :T

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • I'm making slow inroads here. :o

Dailies done up to now. I've also had lunch with a friend and her baby, been to baby massage class, opened baby a bank account, bought bread only at the supermarket. Aren't i good. (only problem is DH also decided to buy some bread, so we'll have to eat nothing else as there's no room for it in the freezer. Alternatively, another trip to feed the ducks.)

I managed to suitably embarass 2 little lads, probably about 8, who were sat on the bench in the shop while parents shopped, when i caught them looking at a flyer with women in underwear. They soon hid it behind their back. I was going to say something to them but reminded myself boys will be boys, and i am not their teacher or parent so it wasn't my place to be nosy. ;)

I need to do something about the ironing pile i think as it isn't far off that one at pigpens house, and there are only three of us here. And DH doesn't get anything ironed.

Baby is teething badly, so well dosed up on calpol and currently snoozing. I can not be bothered at the moment to do much as my back is killing me. I know, yet another excuse from me.

LDJ1 Oh I am pleased for you!

Late here today, and haven't had time to fly, postponed for tomorrow. Thank you so much everyone for your support, can't tell you how much it was appreciated, and really made me feel better. Better news too, the school that is hosting the course immediately offered me a placement, seemed genuinely pleased to have me, and assured me that as I have a long journey, that I won't be timetabled first lesson, so no worries about arriving late. (Takes me an hour to get home, and up to two hours to get there in the morning...) No phone messages so assume DS1 turned up where and when he was supposed to.

The house looked pretty much okay this afternoon, thanks to keeping on top of things earlier. I like this flying!

  • Not got as much done this afternoon as I'd hoped. Sitting with the small penguins while they have their tea. DD helped me make the tea, and grated the carrot and pumpkin. DS will now not believe either of us that it had pumpkin, as he liked it, and he hates pumpkin  :D Need to cycle to the next village with DS for his footie practice, then back for a quick cup of tea before heading out to choir. Must remember my bottle of water this week. Might have a quick halp afterwards, and see how my friend is getting on going out with a friend of DH's.

    I have done:

    Dailies:
    Post – dealt with
    Beds - made
    Pots - washed
Chooks – fed and watered – 4 eggs collected
    Pack-ups - made

    Mog’s list:
    Wednesday
Home office/computer desk. declutter, dust. while you are working run defrag on the computer.

    Flylady task:
Wednesday – tidy up *strays* in living room - done
Thursday – declutter porch and dining room

    My list:
WM – done; drying on creel
    BM – done
    Curtains - started
Rayburn – deep cleaned and polished
    Indexing – half hour done
    Bins – emptied
Pasta sauce – cooking on Rayburn
    Ironing – done

    See you tomorrow, Penny. x
