    Hi everyone,

I'm back online. My phoneline was reconnected at about 1pm yesterday, but I stupidly didn't realise that I had left the handsfree button on in the bedroom all afternoon from an earlier check in the morning. Feeling very blonde now.

Must also make another confession - I've been making up for my lost time on MSE by reading loads of the threads all morning (never seen that who's who thread before, so it's nice to put faces to names). :o

I have managed to send an email this morning though and wash my hair, get dressed, and have breakfast, empty TD and read the list for today. Just have to get on with it now. Swift kick needed!

    Take care, and happy flying!

Well it is drastically improved.. but I need to eat I think, I'm just not getting into this today.

ebay bag stuffed to bursting point. I found 4p a roll of binbags and a rabbit cage with rabbits in over in the alcove lol I found a fire!!!!! It doesn't work, but it looks nice. It also needs wiping down.. think I might remeasure and see if I can get an Aga thing to fit

I have a couple of phone calls I need to catch up on too.

Lunch then... hhhmmmm... prawn sandwiches I think.

    Hiya
Shell - brilliant about sleeping through
Scaredy Cat - sorry you can't go for your meal but think of the time you will be able to go coz you can afford it and won't it taste better!
    Lil_me - get well soon.

I've been busy cleaning today. Took our cat to the vet full of tears to be told he's improved enough to keep him going a bit longer. We're not talking months but he's happy and demanding enough to just take it day by day! I was so not expecting that so he's going to get spoilt rotten!

I've sorted the kitchen, have started on the dining room and will do some bedroom until ds wakes up, he's off poorly today. There's 10 off in his class with this cold bug and he looks so pale bless him. Sure it'll just be a few days till he's driving me mad again.

    Catch up later xx

    WMx2 or is it 3?
    TDx2

I've spent the morning doing college work since dropping DS off at nursery and DD at school so haven't got much else done.

Opened windows upstairs as per Moggin's list but then put fire on downstairs:shhh:as it was freezing - not very MSE!

Anyway, time for lunch then go and fetch DS from nursery.

Thanks all, well I didn't get chance to go back to bed, school called after incident with my son this morning so had to go there. Just had a soup and toast, see if that stays down! Put some washing on the line, it's like a spring day out there which makes a change.

LJD pleased to hear he's a bit better, sounds like it's going to be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. Give him a gentle hug from me :)

Right best get something else done, don't feel like it but I'll only have more to do later!
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Afternoon! Am sat with a coffee and the crust from a fresh loaf for lunch.

Been making curtains for DD. Have to run up the top hem, then will wait to see what length she wants, and finish them tomorrow.

I've let the Rayburn cool, and am going to give it a thorough clean now. I'm then going out to see if the lawn is dry enough to run the mower over it. It's been so mild all winter, that it's grown like mad. I had a new recipe to try, and bought the pork for it, but can't now find where I tidied the recipe to. Will make it into pork with carrot and pumpkin if it doesn't turn up soon.

hello all, good to hear some progress being made! i got the sheets washed first thing, then a friend was round for coffee for an hour or so. i'm working from about 1-10pm, though may be able to squeeze something in at some point!

so, my list looks like this:

    moggins list:
Master bedroom - change bed linen - well have taken it off and washed it, might remake before i go out, dust hoover, fling open those windows, clear any hotspots and clean out bedside cabinets - does the pile of books on the floor count?!. Clear any developing floordrobe.

Check understairs cupboard for any necessary tidying and decluttering.

    my list:
hoover stairs & landing (in fact right through)
    recycling out
    defrost freezer
freecycle drop (if out in car)
cheque for weekend away written & posted
