Another cuppa and another 15 minute stretch I think.. the 30 minutes I've done so far has made a difference, hopefully it won't look so overwhelming in another 15 minutes or so.. *sigh*

  • LJD1 thank you re meal - i would have felt sick sunday morning if i had gone and spent all that money!! feel better about it now as have arranged 'play date' with children with some of the friends for sat so i will get to see them - it wasn't the meal that bothered me but missing out on seeing everyone :o

have got huge stock pot of chicken stew on the go for dinner and threw some veg into different pan to make veg soup too for lunch tomorrow. DD2 sat up to the table throwing the veg - lucky some hit the pan too but she sat for an hour happy doing it bless her. :T

she is asleep now and dd1 home from preschool and has been doing some drawing but now wants tv so i am going to do a quick fly around dining room and kitchen before friend arrives later

am going to look at who's who too - i can't do this too scared people will now who i am and what my debts are from dfw site!!! :D

    Good afternoon everyone,

So far ive washed DSs bedding and its hanging all around the house, made beds, swished bathroom and toilets, made a chocolate cake with LO, put a chicken in red wine casserole in the SC (never made it before, but it is smelling lovely!) wiped the kitchen down (including the floor again, some grated cheese fell out of the freezer, and boy, does it defrost quickly and make a mess!!!). Im pretty much on top of everything today, not sure how tho, cos i am really tierd, but having a good day flylady wise.
LJ - glad your cat is doing ok xx

    Hello

Well so far today I have:-

Put wash on and pegged it out
    Swished kitchen
    Nursery drop off/pick up
    DD2 to library (Rhymetime)
    Post ebay parcel
Pop to Somerfield for few bits (need to make cream sponge for Saturday - MIL Birthday)
DD1 friends round for lunch - Fed and now trashing my house!!!!!!
Phone Dads letting agent re tenant moving out (we are moving in - YEAH!!)
Hoovered downstairs (just twice so far today and been out all morning)

    To Do.

Tidy up mess created by 3 monster when DD's friend leaves at 2.30pm
Cook Roast dinner (who's idea was that)
    Prep veg for above
Get freecycle item ready for collected this afternoon
    Ring removals for quotes
Ring mortgage co re changing payment date (might save £700 this way - shhh dont tell them)
    Change beds, hoover and dust
    Clean hoover filters
    Put BM on
Pack swimming stuff for me & DD2 tomorrow (hide from DD1)
    Put last nights ironing away

Think that will do for now - my actual list is on my laptop so if I manage to do this I will see what else I had down for today.

But first priority is put the kettle on!!

LJD - Please about Puddy cat - you make a real fuss of him!!

Pigpen - Your an inspiration and a bit of a head case I think (in the nicest possible way)

    Right COFFEEEEEEEEE

Not much has been getting done here for last 48 hours, i seem to have caught a stomach bug and can't face moving around the house - lil-me I sympathise with you, hope you feel better soon.

I have put on two washes and just done a 27 fling around the computer desk but otherwise I will hold things over until I feel better.

Didn't even have any milk in the house for a cuppa at lunch, so need to go via the corner shop to school.

Okay so I couldn't just sit here and do nothing all day as you lot were making me feel guilty..plus the ebay pile fell over when I walked in the kitchen to get a coffee :o

So ATM I'm working my way through everything trying to sort it into New (unwanted pressies), used videos/DVD/CD, used books, clothes, toys, householdy things and a misc. You see my plan is to list ALL the books at the same time, then overlap with toys, overlap with videos/dvds and so on ;) So far I have 2 storage boxes full and a BIG camping rucksack filled with stuff and no dining table  There isn't as much as I thought, at least not when it's sorted into piles...individual items is another matter  Oh well I'll get there eventually. I'm hoping this raises some of the car repair money otherwise it will be September before we make up the costs... that doesn't include having to pay out for car tax at the end of the month which the savings were supposed to pay for  I'm hoping that this time around Decluttering will PAY :rotfl: Off to pack boxes

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • That night-time routine sure helps when you're pushed in the morning..........managed to get dd to school just as the bell was ringing this today. My fault really as I had trouble getting out of bed. My dh put the BM on last night just before I was going up to bed, after about an hour I could smell something burning and some smoke came out the vent on the top! I peered inside and came to the conclusion a crumb must have been on the element in the bottom as there was no more burning or smoking but this meant I was up till 1:30am watching it as I daren't go to bed and leave it!:rotfl:

    So, this morning:
DW emptied and started to refill
    WM x2
TD x1 and 2nd load on airer
Went to the library and bought some bananas and beans on the way back
SC on - Chilli Con Carne
BM on - Banana bread - am watching for smoke!
MOGGINS LIST - Master bedroom - change bed linen, done dust, done hoover, done fling open those windows, done clear any hotspots that'll be the book mountain by the bed - um, I am reading them all honestly and clean out bedside cabinets.done Clear any developing floordrobe. done
Check understairs cupboard for any necessary tidying and decluttering.done

Another 15 minutes and I have a sparkly clean fireplace.. it is almost habitable in here!!

1 binbag of rubbish, 1 for charity shop and 1 1/2 for ebay and filled 1 wash basket. I even put the curtain track back up AND.. took down the 'Happy Birthday' banner which has been up since... JULY!!!!!!!!! unloaded and reloaded both washers and both dryers.

I'll do a couple of these ebay listings then do another 5 minutes in here I think.. I hate this room it is the house dumping ground.. and when it is moved from here it gets dumped in the middle room which is rapidly filling up again, we MUST do something in there soon (It is being decorated at easter so not long to clear it!)
