Only me so doesn't get bad now I am on top of it.

However I am a 'layer-down' rather than a 'putter-away' so am working through the piles (mainly paper) on my flat surfaces.

The dining room? :_pale_: If I shove all the boxes back from the dining room into the hallway, does that count?

If I haven't posted by lunchtime can someone send out a search party please?! I'll be in there somewhere!

you don't think I had 8 children because I LIKE them do you???

No, I had them because I wanted to have somewhere to go every night for my dinner and never have to cook. Slave labour.. never lift another finger just boss them about. Unfortunately they all inherited my husbands lazy gene and do sweet FA.. but maybe one day I'll have managed to tame one good enough!

stefejb the only time 'religion' comes into my cleaning is when I say.. For God's sake will you STOP Making this mess and pick some of it up before I murder you and you become a real child of Satan!!

Evening all... Thanks for all the laughs...OH thinks I've lost it :rotfl:

I've just spent the 2 hours of CSI ironing (all finished:j ) in the bedroom trying to watch it on a small portable with a rubbish signal, only to come down and wash the majority of the dirty dishes  On the plus side the kitchen is tidy (pans not washed are in to soak), livingroom is tidy and the bedroom is lovely and toasty :rotfl:

As for Moggins List for tomorrow, I have no dining room we have a "through lounge" *insert snob smiliey here* :rotfl: which is actually livingroom / diningroom / home office so it all got done today :D:j Mind you I still have the hallway/stairs to do.... plus a few other little bits that need to be done. Also want to get some ebay listings sorted (hoping to have 10 items ready to list on Thursday for 10 days) and I guess I had better plan for OH not getting home until late tomorrow. The car is making a rattling/banging noise whenever he slows down / starts off and he can't work out whats up with it so it's off to Kwik Fit tomorrow....thank goodness he's now with them for insurance so he'll get money off ;) This is the last thing we needed right now, but I'd rather he got it fixed than left it since he commutes daily on the motorway

Right, since it's now Wednesday I guess I had better get to bed. Night Night xxx

Been busy today just have the nets to wash , but they are easy , as i just hang them straight up fom the washer, saves ironing them , and they dry fine .
stripped the bed , and washed all the bedding today . plus a couple more loads in the WM , hung it out to dry ,,,,,and got everything dry , just needed airing when i brought it in ,
Kitchen all wiped ,splashbacks really needed doing , and it looks so much better in there now ,
All the bathroom tiles are now scrubbed ( Been doing a wall a day )
everywhere hoovered. LOTS still to do , but the stuff that has been tackled since joining fly lady , although was a HUGE task to begin with takes no time now to keep nice,
    tomorrows list...the table
its a drop leaf table . and up to last week it was a hot spot, general dumping ground but after following moggins list last time we did the table , it looked lovely , and we started using it to eat off ,BUT ................
ITS FILLING UP AGAIN :o Ive took notice if i clear the table and drop the leaf down ,no one bothers ,but if i leave the leaf up .it gets used straight away to put junk on ,,,,,,,,,,,,,so im going to have to make sure its folded away this time when not in use,
ive been a bit disheartened,,,,,,,,anyone else feel the same ,as all in my household have commented on how nice the house is looking , and how hard ive worked etc etc,but no one is trying to keep it tidy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i just seem to be picking up after everyone all the time , it doesnt seem fair ,
i dont have small kids either ,they are grown up .
    sorry rant over

Please can I ask what is probably a daft question but it is late!
I get they relate to kids/partners etc but what do DP, DD & DS etc mean?
    I know:
    OH = Other Half
    GF/BF = Girlfriend/Boyfriend
    Thanks.
