How do you find a cheap cruise?

Last year went on an AI med cruise with excellent cabins for under £800. This year similar cruise nearer £1000. Any advice about how to get costs down? Not fussy on great cabin but even with lowest grade the cruise still comes in over £900.

There have been a load of great deals over the last month 6-8 weeks0 -
AI suggests a Silversea or Regent Seven Seas cruise. If you managed this for £800 a week and can still get one for £1,000 please tell us where from. They usually start at about £3,000 a week.0

Going on Thomson Celebration on 30 Nov for a week AI. There's enough choice of decent drinks to not have to pay any extra. And my mission is not to pay any extra!
I paid £834 each for 14 nights AI. The 2nd week is at the Louis Pathaen Hotel in Paphos (excellent reviews on TA).
Price included returns flights LGW-Paphos.
All transfers.
Gratuities.
Ports-of-call are Alanya, Alexandria, Port Said, and Ashdod.
I booked the cheapest cabin, but it'll still be a lot better than I was used to when I was cruising on Her Majesty's grey Funnel Line for 23 years.0 -
£834 for a thomson cruise.........you have been ripped-off. You would need to pay me to cruise with them again.0
