Thats a good challenge Meow :T Since I started comping I barely read books now except to the kids. Got dd a kindle for xmas so may start reading again
Good luck with your xmas shoppingBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Xmas shopping... now there's a scary thought
I haven't done any either yet. Asked the... okay I need a list of the acronyms
Asked partner if we're doing christmas presents for each other, since we got a parrot recently, and decided not to. However, we each have a birthday either side of christmas so will get something for just that instead. Otherwise, I only have my parents to get something for... brother probably won't... no other family or friends. Makes things easier I guess

It's my birthday in a couple of weeks, so people are asking me for what I want for bday and Christmas, thinking of asking for donations to my new tattoo! I've got to buy for my partner, mum & dad, brother and Grandma, along with bits and bobs for extended family/friends. And stuff for cats and dogs of course
Becks - it is a challenge, especially with me slowing down to enter more comps! I'm thinking of scaling it back to 52 (i.e. 1 a week) for next year, but if I get more then I'll reward myself! Because it has taken up a lot of time this year. Although, saying that, I've really enjoyed it so I might keep it at 100. Your photo competition sounds really interesting, I like taking pictures myself but they are mostly of the cats lol! What have you been taking pics of? Have you done one every day this year?
Thanks wingo, you should start reading again! I've played with a Kindle and have iBooks on my iPhone, both are handy but nothing compares to having a real life book in your hands for me.0 -
Yes I have done one a day this year (some days take a lot more and then choose my favorite) phtos of varoed from very basic to more creative depending on how much time I have had. I will post some of my favourites tonight wheb I can get on the PC to upload them to here. It has been quite difficult to maintain one a day as some days you really don't feel like it or struggle for ideas. However it was my idea and so close to completing it now that I won't give up.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

Morning all,
Just finished painting the last quarter of the livingroom/diningroom so having a rest now. The whole place looks like a bomb site as we had to move an enormous unit so it had to be empied of booze bottle, books etc!
Postman just been and brought me another book from Waterstones - I am never going to read them all although this one doesn't need to be reviewed until 2nd March. It does look good and think my kids might read it too. "Blue Door" by Lise Kirstensen.
Have a good day everyone!

been out thos morning to find new drs surgery. OH's is closing in March. He isn't happy as he has been woth them for years an understand his eyesight issues and meds. So he is not looking forward to having to explain it all to new people. What is the betting if I go and run myself a nice hot bath now that my flat buzzer will go just as I get in

I have now received 4 books from Waterstones this month and there is one to come from Dorset Cereal too! The Dorset Cereal one is the one that won the Pulitzer Prize can't remember what its called. They should keep DH busy while I comp though!
Can't believe you have to look for new surgery for your OH Becks - though he would just have been transferred to the nearest one.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
