Glad other people do things like splitting their shopping - I always do things like that to get petrol vouchers etc. Can't work the Morrisons one though as it is too far away. Always buy the Mail when it has a £5 voucher off for Tesco too. Love saving money! Looks like I'll have to get my Xmas wine in England this year as the supermarkets aren't allowed to give discounts on muti deals in Scotland now! Still not as bad as buying all DHs whisky in Spain on holiday every year!

We are 50 miles over the border! Will probably go to Carlisle though which is 60 miles away. We will be in Blackpool later in week so might call in on way home. Have £40 Toys R Us Vouchers to spend too. Can't believe there are so few Toys R Us Stores. There isn't one at Trafford Centre or Blackpool.(we are going to both)

Never realised that about Toys R Us but I suppose because we have one on the doorstep I think they are everywhere.

just been back to waterstones, all the books that last night said were closed were ok today so have entered for them. Would be nice to get some new reading material

Pechow...my bro had an african grey and every morning it would shout...'have you got your keys' to mimic his OH's voice! Also did phone and tv tunes! It did start swearing though too but I guess they pick up what you learn them!

Amilucky, thats good advice as my parents were on about switching but I'm fairly sure they've had their winter payment recently. Hope the lovely wife is having a good day

We go to Gretna quite often as there is a big shopping outlet there. (We got married in Las Vegas)

When do you get married?

Hope you are lucky with the books, I enter them for DH really. I get plenty of time for my comping if I win things he likes!

Ooh good luck with the wedding plans Becks I've been to gretna green (not to get married though) and saw a few weddings there! It's surprising how quick they do it...my church one dragged!

Sheils, there's a good primark store in blackpool...got loads of floors! There used to be a good toy warehouse there too...not sure if it's still going.

Thanks wingo - will look out for them. Don't like The Sun but bought it last time it had vouchers. Know you are lucky with it!
